in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning
Which side do you think will have less players? Also with more mature players... I've noticed in WoW (ugh) Horde has less players but tends to be much more mature then Alliance. I don't mind playing on a side with alot of players, but not alot of immature players that can't get organized :.

    well history shows us in other MMO's that the majority of people play the good guys.  HOWEVER they made choas so badass i think the population will be very even.

    I wouldn't worry about it having much effect on the RvR. With 3 different battlefronts, organized warfare will always win over zerg.

    i just hope that all the laws of mmos apply. little kiddies who nobody likes will be the good guys so i can have the bad guys to myself and other mature people who actually listen. altho ive seen plenty of young guys work better towards a common goal than the mature ones. as long as i get to have an organized team i will be happy

    Try playing in Europe on a MMO.... The side's are about equil but the quality of player differs incredubly, the usualy more immuture player can be found more close to the PvP side of things, happy to /hump your dead body and camp for 20 minits after. however for PvE there not usualy as good and tend to lack what it takes to organise them selves in to a group to do anything.



    Pondering this I hope this is not the case with WAR, there stating a PvE & PvP way is the fastest to Tier 4 with Major PvP as end game.

    These kinds of MMOs will always have immature players.  If you looking for a game that doesn't, try something a little more demanding or complex, like EVE Online or FFXI.

    I've finished playing FF XI, that was even before my L2 days.



    There is immature players, I know that, I played and suffered with some of them. However its the more stuck up and arrogant player who tells you how to be the class your playing that gets me in that game.



    I just used a more current game as my example, I've played so many it would not be worth listing them all.

    I don't know if you meant that /hump thing literally, but seeing a druid hump someone's dead body in cat form after ganking them, is really funny.

    I think its safe to say no matter where you go, there are always gonna be fan boi'z and immature people playing. Nothing wrong with that, I like moving targets, more sport!

    Organized PvP'ers and Guilds will win out in this gameplay. WoW PvP is like little kid's soccer.

    Ah yes, the infamous "history shows us". Could we get a statistic? I've never noticed that. History has shown "us" nothing of the sort. History has shown each individual different things depending on the games they played and the servers they have been on. If one faction is shorthanded on one server it's usually safe to say that you can find another server where they dominate. It's just a matter of looking.



    If you are trying to figure this out right now, the only thing to gauge future population balance at this point is to base it on faction popularity in forums and fansites. So far, Destruction seems to far outweigh Order. If you go to WarhammerAlliance or WAR-RvR and look at their guild listings you'll see the current imbalance, which is pretty considerable. But like I said before, every server is different. It's just a matter of which one you pick.

    Can anyone tell me if this game will be similar to the original table top game? If so, I just hope chaos players don't get to control Bloodthirsters!

    Above poster, no thank god chaos doesn't get bloodthirsters, just like there won't be ogres and i am pretty sure it's based on 7th(cureent) edition Warhammer Fantasy

    The ogre army would be cool to play, hopefully it comes later as an expansion. I will be happy to play a Goblin Squig Herder (I was a huge orc/gobo fan when playing the table top game).

    PS

    Snotling Pump Wagons would be a neat addition as well. Just put a bunch in a line and mow down the ranks.

    I know I want to play a Caster class of some sort, Bright Wiz or the Magus. I never really liked any races that weren't Human like or Elf so I might not play Greenskinz or Dwarfs. Once Closed / Open Beta starts I will have a better feeling on what race I'm going to play. Untill then I'm more leaning twords the Chaos.

    Gnoblars...Hah, I forgot about them. I change my mind now; I want to play a gnoblar vampire hunter! My character will just carry around a silver ogre fork and stab vampires in their ankles.

    Damn right I meant it my poor rogue couldn't spawn without this idiot camping me.... Then I logged on my lock and it was time to show who could camp who's arse..... I got board after 3 kills and logged off to go down the pub.



    In total and belive it or not there IS more alliance players than horde, check Warcraft Census your like population 1.4 Alliance to 1 Horde.



    I've got firm belive this game is going to rock PvP wise,  can see it now that WoW PvP (Referd to before as School soccer kids) verses WAR (Hence known as High Quality profeccinals)



    You just know the out ccome.
