Pluses to this game are : Their is no armor so its not the person with the best armor wins 
You can create a hero which is unique and wil probably never be copied.
The game involves smarts so you have to think when and what your gonna attack and how your going to deal out your moves.
If you love missions and quest this game is the game for you it has UNLIMITED Quest for you to do. From contacts to the police radio and even stopping bank robberys This game is unique.

You see, i'm all for your posting and everything, but when you decide to start a new topic about something instead of replying to others when they ask for advice, giave a detailed explaination of your opinions and the games pros and cons. All in all you should have round bouts 3-4 paragraphs.
Other then that, valid points. Now just formulate them into a valid reason as to creating a whole new topic for 4 sentences.

I just saw character builder...and I feel like my toons are gimps and useless....granite armor make everything else useless IMO. If they want everyone to play rocks, they should have state it. The worser part of this is I don't feel that rock are appealing in anyway to play and prior granite armor they ain't strong, so it look like a road of pain to me, the suffering mentality.
ATM I have no desire to play, nor to continue, nor to do anything with this game.

If you constantly compare your character to others' based on things you read OUTSIDE the game, you will never enjoy any game, ever.
Granite armor is like if...
A dwarven defender in D&D who activate defensive stance would gain 20/- (cumulative), resist elements 20(cumulative) and AC 10, activable an unlimited amount of times and not much delay between each use. Why play anything else with such bonus only to them?
I have a right to want to feel good or desired in a way or another. I have an EM/Invul 50, and a Elec/ELA 50, and I feel that they are both useless and a waste of time. I was sure that ELA was better resists than granite armor, and it isn't. And IMO, considering it grant no defense nor any HPS, it isn't balanced.
Granite armor outmatch everything else, and it is not balanced in anyway. The "drawbacks" of Granite are easy to compensate, you duo with 1 kinetic and they are compensated. The flaws of other brutes who doesn't have resists/defense like a granite can't be compensated, as a granite would always be a LOT better. And not only that, but they have tons of free powers to pick whatever else they want, which isn't the case of other brutes who are busy getting every powers in their secondaries.

I already have 4 characters to level 50.
And finding myself in a situation where granite armor is always better, no matter what...well...that isn't fun and I have no more energy left, it isn't as if I play 1 character....I already have 4 at max level. Not going to stick around anymore.
My time is done...
My motivation toward this game just did like Power Surge...Granite armor remove any interest I have left. It is pointless, a granite is always better no matter what. More defense, more resists, more hps(Earth Embrace)...There is no reason to be anything but a granite, and if you aren't, then you either become one or leave...I won't become one, not after 4 toons.

Yeah thats what i was talking bout. some sets are so good they make the others look way gimp. if you never look at the CoH Builder you'll be happy forever but once you start min/maxing the game takes a bad turn. what makes it even sadder if u love to pvp well rock is notorius for being too slow to kill anything. They need TP foe to snare something and hope they're dumb enough to get stunned or feared long enough for them to kill something.
in any case I cant play this game at home atm. my main video card blew out (geforce 6800) so for now im using an ATI radeon x800 and my new soundblaster xi-fi card. Well, CoX is now running at damn 10 fps and my sound is really fubared. I updated my drivers but im still screwed. I simply cant play this game with it running like this. I'm very confused cause all my other games appear to be working fine (BF2142, granada espanada, and some others). gonna go through all my games and see if they have probs too. If they dont, I'm forced to quit this game. this sucks I was interested in resubbbing for a month to take a look at these trench coats and stuff but now it looks like theres no point cause i cant run the game !!!!!!

I will admit, I don't even what my soundcard is, seldom have any problem with them, nor need to upgrade them. Hopefully they will remains that reliable and simple. Simple is good.

PvP this might be the case vs granite that i wount say.but PVE um well my ol not built by the specks pre ed build Invul/ss tanker on av missions,etc has out lived out lasted an end up tanking many times after the stone tanker died.
Now cov side thats difrent im sure with brutes a bit .But then again pvp id be um less than thinking to stay in melee range of a brute if i cant take the hits.
