my opinion on eq2 (darathar)

in Everquest II


(sorry for my english but  i don't speak english very well)



In summary I believe that he is a best mmorpg fantasy of new generation for now but when i return to darathar server...degenerated broker , passive guilds...,

(and i remember that i hate lvl-cap for a mmorpg)



it is really a good game but the players it does not know to play or are passive.



that people play? I suppose that to wow and vanguard. but I really believe that people this confused in this generate or im confuse lol





but is only my opinion



 for me wow is for childrens and vanguard  play to less fps than dnl 



so finally I return to be free in uo, and if it enters to me an addiction of party and grafic I go a time to DMMM

    Darathar is a bad server to play on, its almost empty.



    If you want to play PvP you should play on one of the US PvP servers, they have a good number of European players...

    i know but i play in usa with many loss packet and high latency so pvp (i think pvm too) it's unplaying for me



    european playing usa does not quality service.



    but thx it' true, Nagafen is a good pvp-server in usa

    That's odd.  I play on both US and Euro servers (I'm in the UK), and there's next to no difference (lag-wise) between them.



    What speed connection are you on?

    Im spanish and we have  the worse IPS of all europe.



    UK link fast to USA.



    i tryed to do tracert to server in USA...300 ping with loss packet.



    really my IPS in spanish enrouter bad any games servers, not only usa severs but european work more or less well



    so european servers is my only option for now



    i use cable 4 megas and the normal ping in a server european is 45 to 65 ping 120 max so it's good be playable.

    It is half true what you say - I am british, and I am living here in Spain, and the internet isn't always great. Wanadoo arent bad tho - from their 20 meg connection, i was getting 13-15 mb... (+- 1.8Megabytes/s)

    Now I am with Ono. Ono es una mierda. Mejor que Timofonica, pero bueno.

    Still - I play on the US Server Antonia Bayle, and i have no lag issues.. It is not like EQ2 is a FPS, you don't really NEED <100 ping..

    I see that you are a victim of ono like me .

    (try Ares, the network gnutella not cap in ono for now)



    i know that i dont need good ping for playing in eq2 but
    i play in network with 2 pc's and  i unlike when i  look the displays are unsynchronized for 3 second. when you forget this, you  play good but it's not cool when  you mate gives the heal 3 second later being damaged...



    i play uo in network with 2 pc's to 45 ping in europa shard ( eq2 darathar in ono enrouter bad and i have 120 ping and the server is in europe too, this is a  "X file" )  and you can play in the other pc display to real-time, this sensation in great! im freak i know



    i wait that soe fix darathar for server fusion or anything. Cuz there is to less people there.For now i don't go to create a new player in  nagafen and less i pay for  chars transfers.
