Is GM Nova a BoBette?

Gr4dientGr4dient Member Posts: 59

I was reading this thread  http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=479354 on the official Eve Online forums and the thought that GM Nova is in BoB or another cynoNet equipped alliance popped into my head.  It rattled around a bit (cause there's not much else going on in there) and then made itself comfy and taken up residence.

So what do you think, are her words the words of someone who has the best interests of the game at heart or someone who has the best interests of her alliance at heart?

Actually, Nova is a member of Goonswarm so your wrong. CCP is already actively investigating reports of malpractice on the part of several GMs and I'm sure there are plenty of threads but here is one that I found for you read. http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=481166   With developers and GM's wreaking havok against paying players, it's time to change the channel for me. Eve-online had potential but in the end, it self destucted.

3 years of my life down the toilet.

ccp should just remove all their employees accounts and characters over night.

poof, gone, let them start new ones, that can be tracked, and kept out of political parties (alliances).

Remove the means to cheat, remove the risk.

...or keep them on the test server running things and teaching all players the secrets.

ccp the "we cheat for our buddies and are proud of it" company...

anyone can access Sisi, so changes are known before and the most sideeffect secrets are discovered by players anyway.

i am ok with EVE Staff playing in HIghranks, and i still they are doing well, but even with higher restrictions you can't

protect something against human mind and will.

(and still, even when one cheats, the effect is within promills, so i dont worry about that either)

Going off her post on the first page I really don't know what your getting at. From a third party perspective how would you distinguish the actual player behind the account? I know people including my self who log on from multiple IPs including at work and school. There is one peron in our alliance who is a trucker on a regular route that takes him through 15 states and he logs on at the various truck stops that he stops at. Some of this stuff is extremely hard to determine with out putting and excessive amount of log in authenication. I guess the easiest thing to ask is how would you go about getting the cynonets with out nailing the people who log in from multiple accounts legitamently?

How do you know she is a member of Goonswarm?  Nobody outside CCP should know this.  But then again she was most likely swanning around telling everyone she is a GM.  Anyway, I have raised a petition pointing to this thread.

KW's tinfoil hat is too tight apparently. From the very thread he apparently got his "proof" of Nova in Goonswarm:

The only thing that's self destructing in EVE is paranoid tinfoil players like KW that believe anything, no matter how insane it is.
