Well to keep it short..
Ive grinded hard , one of the top lvl players in game.
Ive battled with bugs worst being bugs that make you lose exp. if i was to list how much you call me a liar.
Finally after a good 14 hour hardcore grp session o-O I had a my final crash.. logged back in as normal ... opps
Mass roll back to where i was when i logged in on that morning.
That made me stop and think what am i doing.. i did the normal /petition no answers i did a detailded /bug nothing.
i finally emailed sigil direct and the answer i got was as follows............
"Greetings,
I am sorry for the problems you have been having with the in game issues. We are aware of the rollback problems and working diligently on resolving them. As for the missing experience we are not able to reimburse at this time due to potential character corruption."
.Well thats enough for me roll on the next mmorpg and good luck to any fututr or present player of Grindguard : Saga of the exp loss

I call bull. If you're one of the "top players in game", then go in-game, type that in your Chat window, take a Screenie & post it here. Otherwise, I will say you're lieing here and now, and to please stop lieing.
Everyone I know playing, about 100 people, and not even ONE of them has heard of anything close the that. I've had Crashes that moved me to past location, but never far & NEVER at a loss of XP.
I'll start my own SWG... with Black Jack... and Hookers!!!

Really? Maybe you should take a stroll over to the "official" tech support forums. Do a search for xp loss, and then tell me that it isn't happening to some people. Or are they all liars over there too?

If you mean the ONE post about this type of issue (which could be the Op if he really is the Uber Player he says) then yes, it is an issue on the Tech Forums. There are other "XP" loss posts, but almost everyone was people not understanding they had lost a stone somewhere, or died when they crashed losing XP & stuff at first glance.

Obviously, you are either trying to mislead people, or you're not very good at searching. I'll let others decide on that one. If you select search, and type in "Lost XP" you'll get 1,632 results. I suppose all of those posts were the result of mistaken players too. Lost XP after logging, lost levels, etc, etc, etc.
That being said, I do not regret playing. I like playing. I have fun. So do many others. I'm sorry that your experience turned out so badly, but there are many who enjoy this game.

Post screenshots, post photos of your VG box, of the shop where you bought it, signed testimony of the shop clerk who sold it to you, receipts, account name and password.

Well, I've suffered the experience loss also, no big deal, because I never play a MMORPG as a race to the finish. I like to take my time and enjoy. Suffice it to say, in Vanguard's present state, things do happen.
Is Vanguard enjoyable? Well, the bugs do kind of ruin it, maybe given the time to sort it all out Sigil will have a great game. However, right now, I really just don't feel like paying to play a product that is in such poor condition. My favorite WTF moment was when I died outside Tanvu, and wound up being ressurected in the water on the other (east) side of the far island. So, I swam into shore only to find I was in a level 19/20 area, and died training killer turtles along the beach. I laughed so hard as I hit the "sprint" icon and the damned turtles were running after me. Never have I known a turtle to move so fast
This time I ressurected back on the west side of the island, where I originally should have, but told me I couldn't talk with my group cause I was no longer in a group. Of course, I was still in a group, and had to send tells, as group speach wouldn't work. I also kept getting a message about server error. One of my group mates said he'd had it too, relog resolved it.
Then there's the time I went into the bank to deposit some harvested items, but the database said the harvested item was actually my crafting tool, and I found by glossing over my equipped items that the several identifications didn't match the pictures. Data base glitch? Not good in a MMORPG. Once again, relog resolved it.
Or the time I booted up, went out to slay a beastie, and was told that the combat keys I use in my attacks were passive skills. Unfortunately, it was after I hit the one attack that worked. Sprint like hell outta there, and relog.
Now, I don't EVER volunteer to play beta tests, I leave this kind of thing to people that have much more time, patience, and understanding then I do. It really takes a special person to play a beta, it's not just a free ride to play a game, you have to actually be more committed to testing the product then to enjoying the play. Would I enjoy Vanguard if it were in a marketable state, most definately. Unfortunately, it is not there now, and I really don't have the time, patience, and understanding to continue by paying $15 per month until it reaches marketable state.
Does that make me a lying troll? Well, I'm sure the fanbois will say that it does. But for those of you out there looking for an unbiased opinion of the in game conditions to base your purchase decision on, place mine right up there with all the other ones that say, "maybe, given time, this will be a great game, but as of now, no".

The game's only been out for a month, of course it's going to have issues. Show me a game that didn't have issues in it's first few months?
Neither I, nor anyone I know has had this problem. So it's unfortunate, but wait on a petition (they will get to you) and see what they say.
I'd say less than 1% of players are having this problem.

-Dying and not getting you tombstone back (IE recalling it at an altar). Also, even if you do go back and loot your tombstone, you will lose a little xp

I never lost a lvl (How do you lose a lvl anyways? If i lose too much XP when dying, i'm in the red, i don't lose a lvl). No one in my guild lost a lvl from dying (we are like 20).

But in the presence of bugs, people are indeed losing experience and levels, across Adventuring and Crafting.
And it isn't just to the no more acceptable bug of logging in dead. Just because some monster killed me and exp loss functioned as it was supposed to, doesn't mean it was ok I was teleported vast distances and murdered by a bug.
Your guild has been fortunate, but that doesn't mean your luck permeates the other 99.9999% of the player population. Even if these bugs affect only 2% of the population, it's unacceptable.
It is a lower then 10% repro rate and it is unacceptable. Will it be fixed soon? I don't know. I wish it is fixed soon. If it happens to me, i will petition with calm and will write a clear message stating what i did and where.
When i lost my tombstone due to a crash/death issue, it took 10 min for a GM to /tell me. Next thing i knew, he spawned my corpse beside me.
