Kewlest...shield..evar.

in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

I started on orc warrior today on the team pvp server. Took about 8 hours to get to level 9. This shield is from a quest around level 9. I think it's damn kewl. Here it is and some other shots from today.

    Pretty nice screens. Whats with the thumbnails???? Do them full size

    8 hours to get to level 9? I'm not attacking don't mistake but as comparison, with buffs I could pound out a level in Lineage 2 in my mid fourties (46-47, I forgot) in under 8 hours.

    Whats the grind like now in your opinion? I don't really care about how long it takes but is it mindless grind or is more involved? I was a beta tester for this game and at the time I felt it was about on par with L2 only more punishing. I'm very interested in your opinion because I did have high hopes for this game but was really let down with the launch.

    I don't remember there being white armor when I made my Orc in Beta.  It was Blue.  I wonder if they changed it.

    That is the armor you buy off of the Heavy Armor vendor.  If you buy Orcish armor off of the exchange it is blue.

    Hehe, being woodelf the orcs are my neighbours and i saw that shield in the 1st or maybe 2nd week after release on a tank in the Gataro caves. He had a goblin shaman with him who had a even cooler round buckler. To late now, i am 20, but the Qualian crafted ones are nice too.

    And I haven't experienced a grind yet in Vanguard as I'm always on a quest. There is always a quest or 10 to do as long as you're willing to expore, at least that has been my experience thus far.

    I bought that armor with some twink money from my rogue from the armor vendor.

    Personally, I'm loving the look of the Effiv Shield so much that I'm having trouble upgrading it with twice as good buckler looking shields that I've been finding.

    The screenshot of the ships is a really great shot!  Definitely a keeper.

    I got one of those shields also, got it from a very large crab hiding in the woods out of

    Ca'ial Brael, use it along with a pretty red shield on my Orc.....
