Question about Guild Wars.

Hello, I'm playing Mmorpg's for a long while now, and since I'm kinda done with WoW I'm looking for a new challenge.

My question is, and this question might be damn logical and easy, but will still inspire me to start playing gw nightfall ore not.

Will you start over with a new character if you play gw nightfall, ore do play with the character you hade always before this expansion?

If you apply the expansion to your existing account, you can use your existing character(s) to explore the new lands.  Otherwise, you can always create a new character with one of the new 2 professions provided.

If you have not played guildwars before, and are starting with nightfall, you will have 4 character slots to make characters with, so you can start on nightfall without having any of the previous chapters.

Players who have the previous chapters can use the characters in nightfall, but theres no need to be put off, attaining the highest level will not take very long ( few days ).

1 thing that might turn you off GW as your coming from WoW, is the lack of movment, no jumping, swimming and your stuck to walking pre-defind routes enforced with invisable walls and terain that looks like you can walk on it but the game wont let you.

This was very irritating for me and thus i quit after a week at lvl 15 (max is 20).

Well the thing is that GW is not realy about exploration. To me its 90% PvP. The campagins are nice indeed, but when you finish them thers no real PvE - endgame. Its not even an MMORPG! More like a online Traiding Card Game with an element of action.

Is it possible to get all the skills of a profession only if you have nightfall?

you should buy Night fall because it is the lastest expansion from Arena net

Each Expansion according to Arenanet is a stand-alone, completely different game, yet if you wanna explore all 3 worlds you could buy all of them.. :)

also Guildwar is set in medival european world style, Faction is set in Asian style and Nightfall is set in Arabian world ... so you choose

All expansions have "Core skills" & "core classes" (Core classes are the 6 first classes). Here you can see what core skills there are & what skills are specific for an expansion.

I recommend Nightfall because Heros add that much to gameplay (& because most Faction missions are annoying).
