What is missing to be a great game? i think they need wrap gates because the map so big not like WoW u use a flying animal take forever! this game need good events like boss events or exp events! They souldnt make this game monthly cuz all the other got it already if it free more people we play! It ok if u pay 4 the game but no monthly. Just want to know who agree with me?
Warp gates have already been included - they've appeared in the game previews as the method of travel for the chaos army.
The game will have a monthly fee, that is already established, and I'm happy with that - I don't want this game to stagnate; a decent support staff and continued development requires money.

Exactly. I'm obviously more than happy to play the game if it was free, and you'd hear no arguments from me! But considering their time, servers, bandwidth, etc... isn't free, then i'm more than happy to pay for a well-supported game.
The free to play MMOs really aren't very good. I am glad this will be one of the monthly fee games. Guild Wars is the only game where you pay up front then play with no subscription, but it's not a true MMO. All the content outside of the city is instanced for your group only. You will never run into another player if you zone into a non-city region. That isn't very conducive to an RvR based game where a large part of the combat is done in open field regions.
Personally I vote for pay to play game... Mostly because the game usually have a much higher standard then and it keeps some of the most youngest guys away. I don't have anything against immature players that can't talk english, but sometimes they can become a bit annoying. If it pay to play the communtiy that will come will also the guys who really are interested in the game and not just playing it because they got nothing else to do.
Btw, pay to play isn't necessary a bad thing, look at guild wars (it's still free, right?) it's free, except the expansions, and it's first on the list over highest rated games, atm anyways.
Guild Wars is not an MMO, as someone already mentioned. It's a good game, but it's not an MMO. It's almost entirely instanced, the gameplay choices are smaller than most MMOs (no crafting, for example). And most importantly, there aren't any regular content updates. Only 6 month expansions, which cost full price.
Now, if you want to see the type of community that is drawn to Free to Play games, download Flyff, Rappelz, Dofus, or any of the dozens of Korean imports. While not terrible games, their communities are awful. I couldn't stand playing those games more than a few days.
MMOs cost money to run. Lots of money. That's why so many have closed up shop in the past. They couldn't afford to continue running. Personally, I'm noping for WAR to succeed and last a long time. If you cannot afford to pay the subscription fee, buy a couple less pizzas a month, or don't go to the movie theater one time.

The English language crits you for 3,743,218 damage. You die.
Hahahahahaha this post could have been OK but when I read this: "They souldnt make this game monthly cuz all the other got it already if it free more people we play!" I just started laughing, very hard Oh boy much you'r ears are forced to hear until you're dug down into the earth...!

well it depends on what the game play is actually like, you might not need any travel unless its like AO or you have separate continents. I would like to know what happened to having certain classes have ports to spots. There have only been a few that do this and i want more game to have it.
