I've been playing wow for 2 years now and im bored and need to play something new, give me some suggestions , I'm kind of a Rpg'er so a game with serious players would be nice :P.
Well there is always EQ I & EQ II.. then theres DDO also City of Villans/City of Heros.. but if your looking for free games I'd have to say somthing like FlyFF, SilkRoad Online, Knight Online, or Anarchy Online Classic.
I'd suggest checking out City of Heroes/Villains. It's quite different from WoW, so you'll probably find it pretty refreshing if you've been playing WoW for the last two years. CoH/V boasts the most in-depth and details character creator out of all the MMO's, and probably all the games, out there. They also release major free updates, called "Issues," periodically. The eighth was just released a couple months ago, and the ninth is expected to go on the test server within the next couple weeks. The population is not near as high as World of Warcraft's, but it's still easy to find a team. Plus, you can't beat being able to play as a superhero (or villain).
I can hook you up with a 14-day free trial code for it (that works for both games; like a dual City of Heroes and Villains account), if you decide to check it out, too. Just send an email to me (it's in my profile), and I'll get one to ya.
i think you're going to find that after getting bored with one mmo, you grow bored of "standard template" mmos in general. sure there's differences in all of them, but the basic properties are still there. if i were you i'd try something different for a little bit, maybe like eve
OR.. crank it up a step beyond wow and get involved in an active pvp/siege guild in L2
For a slightly different setting to the usual fantasy, interesting lore, plenty of role-players, a free trial and a mature community, Ryzom might be worth a look, especially if you're more into the role-play side of things than linear quests.

City of Heroes/Villains is a nice refreshing game. Only problem is if, like me, you like having different equipment and weapons, this game lacks that. But the players are really serious. Also, I like Final Fantasy XI (don't mob me), it's a really slow paced game, but I really enjoy it. Right now I'm playing Dreamlords, an RTS/MMO and I'm beta testing Grenado Espada (love it).
Also, if you want to test the waters, download some free games you find under the game list and try those out too.
LOTRO would be nice for you I think, coming out soon (or is it already out?). It is for Role Players out there and it is really quite a nice game with nice graphics, whatever people say about it I still think it is quite a good game.
