There has been a recent surge of activity the past two months however; dev journals every two weeks now up,a brand new video,talk of approaching possible developers,etc etc.
I'd get the feeling that Darkfall has moved on a step in development. Maybe this year we will finally see a beta or even a release. But remain patient; masterpieces take time to be good. Play other games as handy time-fillers; I have Vanguard.

Extremely missinformative... There are exclusive interviews and such on random sites, and some fansites have compiled things, you have to look around because not all of it is on the official site. Just make sure it's a reliable site
Honestly, there just isn't enough info out there yet to make a good guess I'm sure when they start dropping dates in interviews we will be hearing about it.
lol, 2010? well at the rate progress is being made that wouldn't surprise me. That being said if they continually take so long, in order to keep up with the content being added into new releases they'd have to take that long just to make the game competetive
What Darkfall really needs is a big name publisher with deep pockets to financially support the game without being too pushy about a release date. But will that ever happen? Who knows.

i've been following Darkfall to an extent for probably a couple of years now. While i'm certainly no die-hard fan even i can clearly see that the term "smaller title" is certainly not a term to be associated with DF. IF it does ever get released i'm sure it's fan base and gameplay will push it up the ranks as one of the 'more' popular games.
Where did you hear that? You got to back up your dates with proof (i.e. link to the article, interview, ect). I don't think there is ANY dates even mentioned yet by the developers.

I think he was just being sarcastic: Maybe he is frustrated that there isn't any info available or just laughing at us because we are still hoping to see this game go live one day.

I'm not certain that I'll have a stable connection to the internet nor a computer to access the internet and play the game on when it arrives since my life is going to hit a turning point soon that will either break or make me.

there is still no word on when closed beta will open im in a clan that got invited to it and on the list as a primary yet no word still.
