Another nail in the coffin

SOE did it again.

MXO and other games SOE has with small communities were something good for SOE to have in order to pad the Station Access program. Well now unless you're playing 3 games or more it's useless. I was playing EQ and MXO, but now I'll just be playing EQ since I don't feel that I should be paying more for no apparaent reason.

I wonder how many more people who played games as an alternative to their main will even bother with the station pass now.

I have no problem with a company raising their prices to help with inflation and all that....however, VG was JUSt added to the Station Pass...many new subscribers to the game, and NOW they decide to raise the price? It's criminal how Smedley is bringing SOE down into the gutter and no one at Sony has the nads to fire him and find someone who can help revive the company. True players have nothing but contempt for John Smedley and SOE and their tactics of sticking it to the players.

I have to admit, this one kind of boggled me.  I am NOT one of those ex SWG players that walk around spewing anti SOE venom everywhere I go but I really don't see the point of SOE raising the price.  The justifaction before was that "Well, if im going o play 2 games it save me five bucks." And like you said, now you really have to play 3 games to make it worthwhile.  Kind of defeats the purpose.  The only think I can think of is that they looked at their records and saw that a larger proportion of people that have the pas were playing more then 2 games.

    -Currently looking forward to FFXIV

-Currently playing EvE and Global Agenda

typicly i am one of those people that go around spewing anti SOE venom... im just now giving them another chance by geting mxo,  because i am rediculously bored with what is out...    but i do understand that when they add more games to the station pass, they are gonna raise the rates.  its completely understandable.

They raised the price for Planetside too. From $13 to $15. I think all the subs must be going u across the board, not just Station Pass.

SOE has and will continue to put a lot of money into the development of Vanguard and the DC game. Someone has to pay for it, unfortunately many people paying for these projects aren't even interested in them.
