For right now , it's only by asking to duel !

I did some duel with a friend and it was actually quite fun , because there is many way to play a figher , scout , musk, ele , wiz ... it can become very strategic to fight anyone in the game.

When you duel someone , you are teleported to a special instance away from each other and the fight start when both log in.

You could pvp somoene 5-10 time and see him use different tactic , spell  each time.

I hope i will see the v2.0 faction vs faction before the beta end !

There are duels, arena pvp, and the next patch will bring Faction vs Faction wars, which are massive clan vs clan fights.

You can arena PVP 32 vs 32.

Its more of organized PVP, and not you can just run up and kill someone cause you felt like it.

I like PvPs like in Lineage 2. You are free to attack anyone, almost anywhere but you have to bear the consequeces of pking.

I don't like when you have to ask if the player wanna duel, its usually boring... But thats me. I hope they improve this and let PvP free.

Its not a question of cloning, if I would like a L2 clone, I can wait for L3...

I am sure they could think of something better than ask: Hi, want to duel me? Bah...

If ure high level sure u will want to try someone. If u Low, you will say, no, no after no... this sucks...

For me, then, granado wont fit. Thats me. its nothing that I want others to be...

Well I don't think GE really is the right game for you then. Its not an open pvp game.

played GE when it first came out to korea(open beta)

Game was different from other games and it was acutally fun.

But it wont last long. Built in auto attack (btw there are so many auto hunting progs out in korea)

Everybody used auto progs so i gave it a try. My chars ran 24/7. I was able to hit lvl 60 before many people did.

After few weeks my bro got into GE too. so I gave me some gears to play. But guess what. Within few weeks about 80% was running auto prog and theres no open pvp so if people come to your field and start hunting, you cant do anything about it. also I was lvl 60 and was still hunting at lvl 40 field(still gets money and exp when you run 24/7)

It was popular in korea when it first came out. You guys know that koreans love starcraft right? This game suppose to be startcraft+lineage2(most of shortkeys are identical to starcraft shortkeys) It didnt last long like anyother korean mmorpg. There are still people play but I gave up after few weeks of new update(i think about year or 2 ago)

I played scout+2rifleman(both with dual hanguns)

train mobs and use skill(one that you shot in circle)

I'll give another try when it comes over to U.S.

Currently trying to play retail lineage2 again but we will see(hope its not like private servers, one people running 5-6 chars with bots)

if not I'm going over to korean lineage2 again.

Yeah its too one dimensional for me. If you like open sandbox immersive  type MMOs where you can affect the world this game is not for you.

GE's duels aren't as simple as you make them out to be.  In L2 someones level almost always gurante's that person a win.  Even more so considering usually they would attack you first or when you are unprepared.   With GE's Dueling system winning isn't as simple as being a higher level then your opponent.  Take for instance the other day.  My current core group is 82 Shotgun/Trap stance user, 82 Two Handed Sword stance user, and a 81 First-Aid/ESP stance user.   The korean guy that dueled me had a group consisting of people that were 88, 90, and 92.  He dueled me a total of 3 times, and lost each time.   Dueling in GE simply is not a matter of levels and rush tactics.  Must like a RTS you have to be very careful in your choice of strategies.   Probably why I tend to enjoy the aspects of GE's PvP more then most normal level based MMO's pvp.  While losing is always a high probability it's never usually totally impossible to pull a rabbit out of your hat with the right strategy.

I pretty much surprised the guy that dueled me.  He completely expected to steam roll me and my group.  He learned a valuable lesson though.  Strength of level is a very small part of winning a fight in GE.  Knowing the limitations and how to properly use those to your advantage and your opponents disadvantage is of much bigger concern.

PS: For those that are familiar with GE.  My group was made up of all RNPC's as what the guy I went against.   My group was Lorch (82), Idge(82), and Emilia(81).  His group was Grand'Ma(92), Rominia(90), and Catherine(88).

    In War - Victory.
    In Peace - Vigilance.
    In Death - Sacrifice.

I don't know that I agree with this, Colony Warfare is pretty cool, and allows you to affect the world. But maybe you don't know about that... o.O
