what I don't understand is...
I'm having a hard time understand those who post on the L2 forum. There are MANY who dislike the game and overly express there view on it. What I don't understand, is why "you" chose to post and repost the same BS over and over again. If you don't like the game, why waste your time posting about it. Why not find a game that you do enjoy, find a forum that is releated to that game and post positive remarks about it. Or are "you" so bored out of your mind that you feel the need to shoot down a game which thousands enjoy playing?
Yes, LineageII is just like many other MMOs. That's the point, MMO's will 95% always be the same. Grind, lvl, grind, loot, lvl, grind grind grind. That's what MMO's are about. The other 5% is anti-lvling, just a skill tree (which is pretty much the same thing as lvl'ing) Whether you chose to enjoy it is up to you.
Maybe you lack communicative skills and find the game to be boring because no one likes you or talks to you? maybe you're the type of person who wants to play MMO, but find that FFP is what you really want to do, but just don't know it?
Seriously folks, if you don't like it, fine. But posting negitive threads about a game you dislike or detest is a waste of everyones time. Find something you like and go there.

Forums (Open Opinion Discussions) are not just about how Super/great/cool a game is.
People are allowed to voice THEIR opinions openly on these forums, and they do so, in this case, to warn others about a game they should'nt waste good money on (In their opinion).
It says alot if you think a game is so bad you want to warn others from buying it (at no personal gain yourself). I think it's honorable.
These comments also tell the game makers to START MAKING BETTER GAMES, or else we will stop buying them. Which I think is the only solution to the current humdrum of boring and overpriced games being dribble out in mass production.

Yes, however, it is tedious to hear it over and over again. "you" don't like the game, you post it. Great, we have your opinion on it. But to go on and on about it is just a waste of time & space. For those who do play the game enjoy it, and in some cases, realise that MMO's are all the same in some respect.
To say "L2 suxxors, graphics suxxors and grind lvl grind suxxors" is basically saing MMO's in general Suxxors. ALL MMO's are the same. It gives everyone the opprotunity to play ON LINE with other players, which is (in most cases) 10x funner then playing Final Fantasy on your PS or PS2 (not on line).
This is the reason for MMO's. To b!tch and whine about it's all the same is redundant. If someone wants a game that isn't like the rest of MMO's out there, I would suggest the Disneys Version of MMO. It's not about lvl, it's not mainly about killing.
What I find sad about L2 is the lack of Roleplaying. The Grinding is endless, and the lvl'ing is tedious, however, I have come to grips and acknowledged the fact that, this is the typical MMO, but with damn good graphics.
Granted, the game isn't mainly about skill, it's about your equiptment. But that really doesn't matter. It's about having fun. Let those who want to try it, play it and chose there own opinion rather then drilling them with negitive feedback.
Reason I posted this, is because this game offers a beautiful landscape and character design. The game play is like most other games out today, kill to lvl. but all in all, it's a damn good game.

And don't get me wrong, I'm not flaming.
But something affected you in a negative way enough that you had to come to the boards, and say something about it, despite the fact that COUNTLESS people have made COUNTLESS posts saying the same thing.
You were bothered by the people hating on the game, and had to post.

I see little difference between the two.

I really hope that *insert game name here* will be the first game to ever live up to all of its pre-release promises, maintain a manageable hype level and have a clean release. Just don't expect me to hold my breath.
Yes, what I posted is slightly controdictive and maybe hipocrytical, however, I'm not flaming on them nor saying anything directly negitive. I'm just implying that it has become tedious and in most cases, erroneous.
There will never be anything that everyone will like, that's a fact. However, constructive critisum is different then slander. Most posts are by those who blinded by there personal views rather then the whole picture.

Well said!!!!!!!! I can't disagree with that. People often walk into discussions (and discussion forums) with so many agendas and so much baggage that it can really throw even the most reasonable people into opposing camps.

Though I may agree with you in some ways, there are still ppl posting over and over what they feel makes the game great, and they keep posting the same things, so if ppl weren't taking the time to post what makes the game blow, then it would look like the game was awesome simply because of all the ppl reposting and reposting what they love about the game.
See how tedious that post was?
