I feel the equipment you have on and with you gets damaged way too fast. It seems like I'm constantly having to have it repaired. I'm not talking about dying as there have been a few days I've not died or have died just once or twice.
The equipment you carry in your inventory shouldn't take any damage at all or at least the damage should just a small portion.
Anyone thinks damage is a bit fast on equipment?

The only time stuff in your inventory takes damage is when you summon your body instead of going to get it. At that point, yes it should take damage (even WoW doesn't let you ressurect w/o that happening).
As far as it decaying too fast, no not really. I generally pay maybe 50 copper each time I repair and I only repair maybe once every two days.

Untrue. Your stuff takes damage over time as you get hit or attack. I agree that it does deteriorate a tad fast. I play a tank, and not even halfway through a dungeon my stuff will be torn to ribbons. I know they want to encourage keeping a second set of equipment on you, but to be honest, the economy and the prices of stuff for sale on exchange brokers prohibits it. I stuggle just to keep one set of equipment up to date. On top of it, the cost of repairs is further crippling. Costs me upwards of 6 silver to fully repair my equipment after just an hour or so of tanking at lvl 20.*edit* Ah, you said stuff in your inventory, not stuff you're wearing. My bad. Still, its a tad fast.

*shrugs* I'm a caster, I don't get hit very often Aside from that though, casters take gear hits when we sucessfully cast a spell and stuff. I still think the most I have ever paid to repair is maybe a little over a silver.
Maybe that's the difference that tanks take more damage and faster then casters. I'm a DK, a tank and like I stated in the op damage is way to fast.
They said to carry extra equipment but that extra equipment takes damage too although you're not wearing it. Does that make any sense at all? No way!
I presume you'll make more cash as you level up but the price of repairing also increases as your euipment gets better. While this game pays a bit more then WoW it still doesn't pay enough, not for constantly repairing your equipment.
