We just had double experience weekend according to the game. But did it feel like you got double exp? Personally, I didn't feel like it.
Now, I'm not saying the game didn't give it out, just that to me it didn't feel like it was happening. I know the higher you go the more exp you need to complete levels. But after the weekend and all I did I thought I'd be a bit more ahead then I currently am at 15.
Question: How do you see who is in the area in case you want to see who is around for a team invite? How do you set up "LFG" looking for group so others can see it?
Question: When you put saddlebags on your mount, can you see them on the horse? Or they only give you more inventory space withouit being seen?
Question: What are the 10 and up areas in Kojani zones? I began in the village of Dallerjab by Tanvu. (I know I spelled the village wrong).
I seen the saddlebags being sold at Thestra's starting zone for a few pcs of copper. But in Tanvu or the place you get the mounts in Tawar, the vendor doesn't sell them. Any place near these zones that sell saddlebags? The broker has them for 4 silver but compare to a few pcs of copper (5 I believe) it's best getting them at the vendor.
Thanks for any responses

Heh, lots of questions there...
1. Yes, it was double XP, and I moved from 17-21 with regular play. If you are not running in groups taking on 3-4+ dot mobs then you are not getting as good XP as you could. Don't know much about the world... the dwarf start area is packed full of places to hunt so no need to explore yet.
2. For the rest of your questions it just seems a little obvious that you have not played MMOs much. Try some "/" commands like:
/lfg - turns on your looking for group tag
/who "name" - gives you the people with that name in your area. Try class, level etc. So, /who cleric 14 20 would, you know, give me a list of clerics level 14-20. The area seems limited, so you might not see many people in some lists.
Dunno about saddly bags, I see them on some horses, not on others... but they do in fact hold stuff even when you are not mounted.
I couldnt find a group all weekend on Hilsbury. So this dbl experience meant nothing for my 13 cleric and 17 warrior. and yes I had /lfg on the whole time and was advert'ing in /shout and /areasay. It seems noone on my server bothers to group below the mid 20's and I appear to have missed the initial surge of players.
hopefuly more players will be along soon.
20 to 24 here. I grouped in the Tomb of Lord Tsang, and it may just be that the group was too high for that place, but I got more XP out of grinding solo. I don't recommend it as it is excruciatingly boring, but I just wanted to keep up/catch up to the guild mates so that I can join in on the fun stuff after the weekend.
As a blood mage it took about 2h of grinding for each level. I have grinded before and it was slower than that, so yes, it felt like double xp.
I'm a dark elf and I've had to build faction to actually get some quests to do, it appears that no matter what character you pick, you'll have to visit another race's teen quest hubs in your teens as you'll run out of them. Kojan is the smaller of the three continents, so you will have to take the boat to Qalia or Thestra. Qalia's advantage is that the level-appropriate zones for teens is much closer to the boat than Thestra where you'll walk a LOT from the boat to some place fun for teens.
In fact when I realized this was happening I quit doing lowbies and went back to my main (the Paladin). I figured he could afford less kills per level at 11, 12, etc, because his relevant skills were already capped. I also got him from 11-13 in about the speed as 9-11... which certainly means the XP was coming faster for him too.
Horses -- you can do the diplomacy quests if you like diplomacy and get a free mount if you want. It's a tad slower than a purchased one but it's free, and perfectly serviceable for a while (the low teens at least). And since it costs you nothing, the only reason not to do it would be if you don't like diplomacy.
