Vanguard in Widescreen

in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

I've been considering picking up a LCD widescreen.  It looks like the resolution options in Vanguard support widescreen.  Can anyone confirm widescreen is supported by VG?

    VG looks great on my 19" widescreen...dunno if i get more on the screen with the widescreen - haven't tried it. But it looks great to me...

    I am running VG in widescreen with no problems other than previously noted performance issues. Not having an problems with the resolution.

    Thanks.  I'm assuming you are using something like  the 1600x1024 resolution setting.  If it looks great, and not stretched, then it sounds like it's working fine.  No letter-box on the top of sides right... fills up your entire monitor screen?

    Yes - no letter box - fills up the entire screen and doesn't stretch. Again - it looks fantastic...

    I use the Hanss-G 19" widescreen from www.tigerdirect.com (highly recommend it)!!!

    Didnt you ask abotu this a while back booji?  Or was it a vid card?  Get the widescreen boy. I got one and I love it on VG and COD2

    When I played VG it ran find on my 22" widescreen in 1680*1050... aside from the general performance hit for running it at high resolutions...

    No.  Previous video posts where with the 8800 GTX driver compatibility issues.  My local CompUSA is closing and now might be the time to strike on a LCD Widescreen.  Since VG consumes almost all of my game playing time now, just want to make sure it's supported.

    Oh yeah. Vanguard certainly supports widescreen resolution. I'm running mine on a 20'' 1680X1050 off a 8800 GTX and it's stellar. Picture quailty is top notch and the high resolution reduces clutter with the UI. It's all good. Let us know when you get yours up and running.

    I'm running Vanguard on a 24" Dell widescreen amd am 8800 GTX with no problems, except for the bugs :)

    Resolution is 1900.

    Same here 24 inch dell on a 8800GTX running at 1920 x1200 and its stunning

    I use the Silky Venom UI

    ...although I am looking at others. That aspect of Vanguard is still growing in the mod community.

    24 inch dell at 1920 x 1200. Looks incredible.

    use the native resolution of the monitor for best results

    Here is a shot of Vanguard Widescreen you might enjoy.  Game looks incredible in widescreen at the higher resolutions.

    Yes, I'm running it on a 24 inch dell and it looks great.  Pair it with an 8800, and you'll get decent fps.
