I would never have believe it until I tried it!
This game actually manage to find a system which action lover will hate(real time ACTION with reflex and all, completely absent from the game) AND about everyone else!
LOL, a game based turn played in real time! LOL
That is even worser then the Chocobo Race(in a game based turn, which will attract folks that rather focus on thinking with all time then play with reflexes)!
LOL...okay, no more waste of time with the FF series! FF X and FF X-2 give me a good taste of it, and it dont taste great! Against the named ronso, you can put tape on the X button and go out for 1 hour, then switch dresspheres(class) and rince and repeat for another hour, thereby maxing class away from the console who is playing alone.

I agree, that game sucked. I can only hope that square will finally make up for this blunder with FF12.
They should just do what all the fans want... remake final fantasy 7 with new graphics and for the ps2 and PC... and then add in a new story which could be...
a) The whole FF7 from Sephiroths Point of view - BE THE BAD GUY EVERYONE WANTS TO BE!
b) or the story of what happen after FFVII
c) Zacks story... maybe you could play as him.
You would have had to of played FF7 to see what I mean but I recon there isn't a person out there who doesn't agree that FF7 was the best of them all...
After that I like, FF tactics, FF 8, FF Mystic Quest, FF 3(i think it was 3, it was a rom hehe). And after a while i got into FFX. It was alright, but not what you expect from a FF game. X-2 made me so infuriated that i wanted to smash the PS2.

FF X one and two are better examples of what Final Fantasy should be. FF Nine, however, is the one that leaves much to be desired with the main character being some dumb@$$ teenager with a tail...
I think they need to come out with a sequel to Final Fantasy VII, that deserves a sequel above any other Final Fantasy right now. Or as was suggested, a remake.

I have played almost all the final fantasy games (Not online or the first one.) And to be honest i think 10 was the worst by far and 10-2 was not far behind. The ones that are the best are final fantasy 7 without-out a doubt and also 8. Them and number 2,3 or 4 (which ever has Ceclil in) are the best.
