in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

I've never dealt with archery before so I don't really know about it much.  Naturally arrows go with bows but what about crossbows?  What's the ammo for this in VG?  Are they the bolts, crude bolts? 

Also, for bow and arrows you need to level up to use them at whatever level they are, but does this cover crossbows too or are crossbows totally seperate from the bow and arrows in training?  I looted a really nice crossbow but said it needed 100 in archery in order to use.  In bows and arrows I'm at 25 so can I continue with the bow and arows until I hit 100 to use the crossbow or do I need to use a crossbow to get to level 100?

In Kojani other then Tanvu and the land right across to the east  where you have the gataros creatures and Jalen's Crossing  further south what other place can you teleport to where its at level 12 and up?  Is Martok around that level?  I tp'ed there but the guards at the bottom of the docks were a red 42 so I wasn't going near them alone.

    Hey guys!  Can't someone please give me some info on archery, the questions in the op?  I'm sure some of you guys know the answer.

    I tried to use the crossbow but all I get is a "thunk " type of sound when I do and it doesn't work. I'm a Dread Knight so I'm able to use them.

    Theres archery skill and then it's bow and crossbow skill if I remember right. I don't why one gets archery and weapon skill but it probably has some use.



    If it's archery you must have to use your crossbow then using bow works fine. Although I'm somewhere around 120 in bow but only 54 in archery or something so it's going to take some time.

    There are bolts on the Ranged Weapon and General Goods Vendors.

    Crossbows and Bows use different weapon specializations but use the same weapon overskill, which is Archery.  That overskill, Archery, is what determines your ability to equip that crossbow that you looted.

    So, you could continue to use a Bow, which would eventually get your Archery skill to 100.  Once that Archery skill is 100, you could then use that crossbow that you looted.
