If there's ever a free trial, i would wait to use it till it was close to the end of an era. So far, 3 things keep me away from this:
1. The game info on the web site suck.
2. No free trial
3. Only beta players really knows what happens when an era ends and everything is reset. The game is only a couple of weeks old, and an era lasts for 2,5-3 months. The reset thingy sounds annoying (like "lets repeat everything"), but i don't know for sure.
I haven't downloaded the gameplay movie they resently put on the website. I downloaded the intro movie, though, and that was crap. A background history, presented with sketches (no actual movie!!) and the voice of an old woman.

I love that old woman's voice. It's possibly the best thing about the game. Nobody should pay a cent for this until they fix about two dozen gameplay issues and provide new players with proper guidance about what the heck they're supposed to be doing. . . especially in regard to PvP, which is required for progression, and yet two thirds of new players seem to find too daunting to try.
