If my gaming budget could afford $250

I'd pre-order this game and get the lifetime subscription price. I'm sure it would be the best money I've spent on a game in a long time. I'm not sure how expansions will figure into that price. Given the content delivered thus far and the number of areas left, there is easily years of gaming available. Sure the game has a few rough edges and only the gods know how much I hate dwarves, still I could get past those annoyances.

If I had about $500 spare, for a decent video card and lifetime subscription, I'd do it.

I think the lifetime subscription is a great idea that Turbine came up with. I think LOTRO will be around long enough for a few expansions.

I'm ok with you hating me, but I'm getting the Lifetime for 2 accounts. For some reason I've talked myself into 2 accounts and it may be an ill effect from my SWG days. Besides, I know I'll play this game more than 20 months so it works out. I just have to wait 20 months to start saving money, lol!
