I'm a fan of UT2K4.

FPS was probably my favorite genre

Err, I'm not quite sure if UT2K4 is even an MMORPG. But yeah, Guild Wars does look really cool. I signed up for beta, and looking forward to playing it.

I believe GW will receive most if not all of the SB population. Three fourth of the people there think SB is Medieval counter strike. I'm sort of happy GW will not be so community based after reviewing my thoughts. Lol

I kinda share your feelings HebrewBomb.  I love FPS games, including the new UT2k4.  I'm hoping that GW with share some of that head to head teamplay action that I love so much in many of today's first person shooters.  I'm a big fan of MMORPG's as well so this game looks like it's gonna be perfect for me.  But I guess I'll just have to wait and see.  One thing I do know is I'm gonna get in on the E3 for everyone.

In a sense strategy wise, yea, Guild Wars will be like UT2K4, where you have some Team-oriented PvP or mission combat where you actually have to strategise to win.

Well, having played both, I'd say not really anything like it beyond the aspect of "team play". There really isn't any "guild" play, but there is some "group" play. I would say the good communication from UT clans would be beneficial in this game, as would familiarity with group tactics. However, ultimately, it's a whole different experience.

Not community based? Not sure if you're an Alpha tester or not, but imo this game will have a large community base to it.
