in Dark Age of Camelot

Just downloaded the game, enetred it and it seemed very dead i went onto the excalibur server.  Im new to it, and found the movement control system to be very awakward.  Any tips or help anyone can give:)

just woundering what a good server to join is in europe, i only speak english though.

    I recommend you to switch to U.S servers, excal/pryd cluster is pretty dead. So, movement controls... I usually have two methods to move around:

    1. w to move forward and s to move backward (duh). a + d to strafe from side to side and right mouse button to turn my char around

    2. up, down, left, right. Easiest imo

    do i need to purchase an american copy to play on the US servers?

    Coz atm all i can see are EU servers.

    first, download the 14-day trial from here and install it: http://www.darkageofcamelot.com/downloads/

    Then download the catacombs expansion: http://catacombs.darkageofcamelot.com/downloads.php

    When you've finished patching it, create an account using the client

    well frist off whenu play the usa versoin try the clasisc server such as gareth. and it will seem dead but once u go to the bg's ull see were everyone is

    Hello!

    Yes go for the US classic cluster, you can edit the controles by typing /keyboard if you like to use a diffrent setting.

    Yep, US Classic servers still have a decent population..... and plenty of Euro players to hook up with....

    I play on both classic and toa servers, and many of the players I meet on classic came from EU servers. I was in a group yesterday in Breamar that was me, 2 guildies and then 5 other random adds. Every player in that group besides myself came from EU servers. From what they have told me, because of the falling populations, many people are making the jump and most go to classic because even though the cluster has some people that have been there since launch, all but new players had to leave behind accounts full of toons to make a new home there.

    game is kinda only end game now, if youre new and dont have catacombs its goign to suck. if yoy get catacombs you can lvl up FAST!

    It really isn't only end-game now, all of the bg's are populated if you want to rvr before hitting 50

    I Agree, atleast on classic there is alot of lowbie action going on all the time.
