I am no longer able to get a 4-shot kill soloing as a 38 Ranger - WTH is going on ?! Before 35 I could pretty much pwn anything that moves in just several shots and now it take 4+(!!!) This is NOT acceptable Sigil needs t get this addressed ASAP.
I mean I dont see any reason why I cant take on 5 mobs my level like all the Clerics can, this game is so unabalanced somebody please call me a wahmbulance !

OK...people let me give you a hint - this post was a sarcastic remark about the ridiculously overpowered Ranger class. As it stands they can solo ANYTHING their lvl and 3 lvls higher, they have the highest dps of melee classes and are able to gracefully solo all the way to 40's without any need to group since the kills come fast and dmg keeps scaling up appropriate to lvl.
With actual tank classes Monk/Disciples gimped to hell why do Rangers/ Clerics still get to take on 2-4 dot targets even lvl without any problem ?

PLEASE tell me this attack chain you use to make a Ranger so deadly. What a great laugh. I am a 15th lvl Ranger now and have had my a$$ handed to me on more than one occassion by a single mob which was only a "slightly tough" opponent. Getting 4 shots in would be a neat trick given the range and then the min range that limits a bow shot once a mob is too close to you (I hope this changes to make supporting a group with a bow viable unless you like standing 20 meters back).

Tanks: Warior, pally, DK
Offensive: Monk, ranger, bard, rogue
Healer: Blood mage, Cleric, DISCIPLES
Casters: Sorc, Druid, Necro, Psion.
Monks and disciples aren't tanks. It's no wonder you're so pissed off over the update, and if you thought that a disciple was a tank then no wonder they got nurfed.
Ranger's are NOT overpowered... in Melee, they are MUCH weaker then the other OF Classes (well, Monk is now debatable, poor Monks...). Where they have a HUGE advantage is their Ranged Abilities. As a Ranger, I will admit I can take out 25% of a Mobs Health before they can even touch me. Add to that a some other tactics (that I won't give up here, hehe) and a Ranger can Tank & DD a Mob a bit. They are NOT good Soloers, no mater what anyone claims.
The Real issue IMO is the lack of a roll for Monks. Bards are Buff / States Machine, Rangers are Ranged DD's, Rouges are MASSIVE First Strikers / Evaders, and Monks get the GIANT shaft. In eta, Monks were the Chain Masters, which I thought was perfect, but now they serve no peurpose other then a name. PErsonally, I thought Monks should be Chain Machines that result in States or Dramatic Damage Dealt, with a TON of Defensive Midigation. Some would think this would make them too powerful, but the truth is that Vs tough Mobs it would make them dead unless they have a Tank to Draw Agro.
That's the real issue IMO...

The Classes are not meant to be balanced 1 Vs 1. For example, My LVL 15 DK can Solo LVL 15 3-dots or LVL 19's. That said, if I two of ethier on me I'd be dead. My GF's Shaman can take two of those on for quite a while, but can't beat one due to Damage. My Guildies Cleric could take one out, but not 2. My other Guildies Psi can take out 2 if all rolls go his way.
ANY combo of 2 of the above classes can easily take out 3 to 4 mobs. The Classes are all meant to play roles. It gives some an advantage 1 Vs 1 (depending on the Mob class involved), but none have an advantage when the Mobs stack up. I'd Rather have a Good Psi or DK in a gorup, then a Ranger...

TBH i think the problem is not how well clerics and rangers can solo but how bad others can solo.
Making other class more soloable is the answer not nerfing the ones that can.
