So....when's the Beta due?

in Fallen Earth

I love the look of this game and I'm hoping that it doesn't flop like so many of the new titles on the horizon.

Any idea when the beta starts?

    no word on it yet... but, if you havent signed up for the newsletter do so, the dev team will contact you when they are ready to open beta and let you know if you're invited

    I did so and signed up for the forum ( even posted!     )..........I read the FAQ closely, I was just hoping for someone with an inside track to pass their info this way.

    i've been looking at gaming on XP vs Vista and saw that some games there isn't much difference (XP just a little better than Vista) but on some other games there's a HUGE difference in performance



    i wonder if the release of Vista and the fact that all new PC systems will be sold with vista only (can u buy a computer then just load XP on it after the fact?) has set the Icarus crew back any

    I would strongly reccomend waiting untill Microsoft releases SP1 for vista b4 messing with it.

    I fix vista problems every day at work, at this point it's nothing but a pain in the ass.

    on a fansite icarus said they have tried the game on vista. runs fine.

    I can't wait to try it out.   They seem to have a high quality standard.   I like that they aren't trying to hype up the game and promise things that may disappoint us later.  So I  hope that means that when they do finally start beta, the game will be as good as it looks!!!

    I hate to repeat this 'deadline' because its not from a dev, but from a community 'handler' so to speak *Chuckle*. Anyway he said sometime in 2007 closed beta will begin. Meaning anywhere from today until Dec. 31st. Not that, that helps us any.. *Shrug*.
