Ive been playing MMORPG's since i was like 14-15, starting with EQ1...
Now I am pretty new to this site/thread and until a few weeks ago i never even knew there were free MMORPG's out there.
No I dont have the best computer, its from back when I played EQ... I got like 128MB Ram, 1.8ghz Athlon or something along the line... anyway, its been used for a long time, its getting old, glitchy and just pisses me off, and I am not even trying to go out and buy a new MMORPG that cant run on this old thing... Anyway... I kinda wanna wait until darkfall online comes out cause it loots sw33t as hell
so until I get a new PC I wanna play a free MMORPG in the mean time... I have been looking around for days now, and asking for opinions based on what I like, but finally i realize, f*ck it... I just want to play a free MMORPG, that you the community has somewhat enjoyed.. but the only catch is it has to run on my PC... so please if u can, help me out!
I started playing maple story just to try out the whole 2D side scroller, but the community is just so horrible.. everytime someone KS's me I just wish I could summon them in person and **[not for sensitive people like goomba667]**... Today some f*cker named ****** KS'ed me and I told him if he did it again I would **[not for sensitive people like goomba667]**... but its just not enough haha... lol anyway I am getting off subject...
SO YES!!.. just please i need ur opinion on ANY FREE/FREE MMORPG that you have enjoyed... Im tired of reading millions of reviews trying to find whats best for me... this is a good way for me to try a new style RPG anyway... so anyway , please... I need ur help, u could be the one changing my perspective on MMORPG's forever!!!

dude 128 megs of ram? athlon 1.8? man o man ... you are running something fiercly ancient ..
you need to learn how to build a computer ... considering you only have 128 megs of ram im guessing you also probably are running onboard grafx, which will severely limit your ability to play any newer mmog.
if i were you, id upgrade that PC first. you can probably get away with using a universal agp 4x/8x card ... seeing that you have a 1.8 athlon you must have at least a 4x agp slot on that motherboard, judging by when that CHIP came out ... ... you can find cheap video cards for the 4x/8x standard or "universal" as cheap as 29$ on a website like newegg.com.. and you can actually find rather good ones for a little more fx series Geforce, or the 9000 series ati .. which are pretty decent, video memory on the card will be important, you will want minimal 128 megs but id reccomend 256, this is a temporary solution but should be able to run a better free mog ...
upgrade the ram to 512 MB again using average 2600-3200 DDR which also shouldnt cost too much
after you have a rig capable of playing something half way decent, like dungeon runners, flyff, Rose ect...
if you dont want to upgrade ... look for a diablo style, or maybe another 2d scroller mmog you can tolerate untill you are ready for that new PC
oops i forgot to mention i did put in a geforce graphics card a while back, so its like 512RAM but still, cant play WoW or Darkfall on this thing, plus its just not worth upgrading its just getting worn out.. u know how PCs get after a while...
I am definitly gonna get a new one... I finish school next february and should be makin like 80-100k a year easy so that will be no problem... i just want a fun game on the side u know? but definitly appreciate the input dude
