Black Screen!?!

  What kind of computer do you have? Graphic card drivers up to date? Sound card drivers up to date? DirectX up to date? Those 3 especialy Graphic card drivers and the DirectX are likely to be the problem.

  yeah, I've tried downloading latest drivers and still goes black when I click [play] ... It's wierd.. The game is playing, I hear the start up and background music but the screen stays black. i can alt+tab out and back but nothing.

  your first mistake is posting here, you should be making a bug report and posting on the official forums. For the most part they are aware that some zone loading gets a black screen and are working to fix this issue, My self personally have never expeirence that isssue so I am guessing it is localized to certain video settings with certain drivers.
  
  
  
  Unlike some current titles, Turbine are working to fix the issue , instead of hiding it .
  
  
  
  if your invidia use , roll back to 88.## driver and see if that works, some cards are not all the same, like PNY , always hated their cards lol ,

  5 bucks says it is a driver issue, the tech support boards on teh beta forum sshould get you going. Offtopic but I love EVGA cards, BFG is my second choice. EVGA sent me 3 7900GT's and never asked me a single question when I kept letting the smoke of their memory chips LOL, wonder how that happened?
