I love GW the following are things i love and it seems DDO has the same stuff, can ppl confirm?
- There are gathering points where ppl go to like GW ie towns and outposts
- can you teleport to allow you to meet with friends etc in a heartbet ie. not have to run half an hour to party
- In GW i can jump on for 20 minutes and arrange a party with pugs or guildies and do a mission or quest and quit.....easy, is this the case with DDO
- I love how in GW you can get max gear without grinding, the only reason to farm/grind is to get max gear with cool skins, is DDO a grindfest or can you get max gear without grinding too much
- Missions/quests: do you feel like your headiing toward a conclusion or is it just kill that monster for 12 legs, kill 10 hounds and report back etc, etc, etc, and on and on and on
- I live in AUS, will the combat system favor poorly if playing from around the other side of the world
- Are there massive ammounts of spammers, scammers or ...kers on DDO

Yes all quest areas in DDo is instanced and its like GW. There is no scammers, RMT, kids playing it. Its all mature well filled-with-info players and some did even willing to pull you through non-solo quest with their alts.
i cant go further deeper because i am still a pretty low level around lvl 2 rank 3 atm

Ok i'll answer that point by point, but it's based on what I saw in the european version so some part might differ if you go on the US server.
- There is a "gathering" point. It's Stormreach where all the quest npc are and the various doors to the different dungeon. There is smaller open area as well that has some quest in them, one of them is the latest big addition with the module 3, a big desert area. They also announced more open area with module 4 that should come in april or something like that.
- Nah there is no teleport but there isn't much running to do either. Like I say above, it's all in the big city of stormreach unless you go in the desert area and even then, people tend to go there with their group already.
- Yep, it's like that at least on the european version of the game. There is only 2 servers so it's quite easy to find people.
- Well in DDO all loot table are random so it's more on the luck part then the grind (then again it can come down to grinding) but youcan buy stuff from the auction house as well so finding the max gear can be easy with the right group and golds.
- All quest are in dungeon area where you have objectives to accomplish. There is raid as well where you have a major boss to kill at the end.
- Well if you go on the european version it shouldn't. Those server are based in UK.
- No spammer or scammer either. If you find some, just send the info toward the Game Master and they are taken care off quite fastly.
