Every game has its downfalls, some people just like a game so much they can overlook whats wrong with it.
I've literally played just about everything, except a few free asian MMOs. Which really are all the same, as much as I don't like stereotypes its unfortunately true; all grind, no real content, no imagination involved. I'd say EQ2 has a lot more to offer than people give it credit for. It would be my choice out of the list (and first choice on any list really) if you plan on playing for more than a few months.
If you're looking for something for only a month or so you could also try City of Heroes/Villains. Its great for the first week, still sorta fun for another week or so but after about a month you'll be done with it.

Don't be sorry dude. I'm just wondering if the "vs" is about which MMORPG has highest concurrent chick population between 8:00PM-11:00PM.
-If you want a casual game thats so easy a 5 year old can get max level and achieve everything and has a bit of PvP play WoW.
-If you want a game with some actual content and substance with great PvE but lame PvP play EQ2.
-If you want a game to play by yourself that isn't really an MMO play Guild Wars.
-If you want a game that ran out of money and released a half-finished version with bugs play Vanguard.
