Drizzt

Okay, I know that everyone who read my last topic is probably sick of asking opinions of classes, so I'm sorry but I have one more question.  This question goes to anyone who knows who Drizzt is ( the dark elf R.A. Salvatore invented that everyone love).  In your opinion, which class is the most like Drizzt, two swords, very noble, a great ranger, uses his bow only occasionally, VERY agile, etc....  Whichever class is most like that please tell me.

Thanx again!

None are like that really. A Ranger is the closest, but they use their bow mainly. They do get some sword styles and can dual weild, but you won't be very effective. But you could play that way from a RPing standpoint. To be Agile, you need to pick a Scout class or a Monk or Bruiser. Since you want to dual weild swords, that rules out a Monk and Bruiser, plus they don't use bows. That leaves you with Scouts. Ranger is a Scout class and fits closely to what you want, but I'm still new to the game, so someone might know of another Scout class that can use a bow and dual weild as well.

as far as i can tell all scout classes can use bows and duel wield but rangers are the best with the bow i think assassins might be also because they are the evil version of the ranger.

If I mainly used melee instead of ranged, would I be a pretty weak character?  Because I read here, http://eq2.allakhazam.com/forum.html?forum=66;mid=1140233299250587579;num=2;page=1, that they used their Ranger for close combat.  If I did this would I be a pretty bad character for grouing and soloing?

I would say that the Swashbucker is the closest class to Drizzt as they can use a bow but mostly melee, and they can dual wield.  They can also stealth and track.

    Aye

Swashbuckler and Assassin is the best way to go

    I don't think Drizzt was a bard...

I was justtrying to give a shout out to all of my Dirge playing people.  I know we are a rare class at least on my server.

Assassin or Brigand would be closest, but brigands do more damage one handed. Both of these can start out as Dark Elves, although you can betray at any level. Brigand can betray to Swashy and Assassin can betray to Ranger. Brigands and Swashies are better with thrown weapons though, so go with Assassin.
