Must level playing field ever

This game is amazing.  I have yet to feel that it is unbalanced or broken.  I'm glad that i don't have to worry about making money to buy a shirt or "food" ect.  I just have to focus on playing the game.  If you like to make money crafting go play a sim.  This is an action packed brawler/shooter with NO I repeat NO lag.  I can't belive it myself.  If you can play through mediocre MMORPGs than you shouldn't have a problem playing this great game.

And to all you nay sayers, YOu'll forever be complaining about a game until the end of time.  I hope you can one day be happy with something.  For me, COH is the game I've been waiting for someone to make for a long time. =)  No complaints here. image

    I agree!  COH is image

I've been in an area with 100+ hero's, and a bunch of NPC's, and NO lag (by the brawler).

Great game, they focused on fun, and that's what it is.  Expansions can only make this game better.

I just do not understand why this superhero theme cannot be translated into a fantasy rpg realm?  The system CoH uses is quite frankly the best ever.  There must be a way to implement these parameters with all the trimmings that a fantasy rpg needs.  Crafting, loot, mining, etc. and prevent the negatives of other MMORPG's.

Can anyone ever conquer this hurdle?

Well your wishes have already been answered. CoH already has a fantasy equivelant (or at least it will have soon) it's called UXO. UXO has no crafting, house building etc... it's just pure questing and adventure, with private quest zones like in CoH. Due in September hopefully.

Yeah Matt I was hoping that UXO would be the fantasy themed equivalent of CoH.  But ever since EA consolidated all of their employees to Redwood California causing many of the key developers to not continue on with the project I feel this is going to take the games quality down the wrong path.  I know there were some very very talented devs brought in to continue the project in California but the game will undoubtedly suffer from this change.  I just do not see how the game will ever be as good as it could have been if it had remained in the hands of the original devs.  But you know I am wishing for all my fears to not be true.  I would love to see UXO be half as good as CoH when it launches.  CoH has set the standard for launching an MMOG.  Even while in beta I had pretty much zero trouble playing CoH.  It was amazing and a sight to see!

    Please UXO.....be the one!!

I found it broken in more than one aspect, tho the major thing I found was when my character got diseased and the mission to cure myself didnt do what it was supposed to. So I couldnt play my character to its full usefullness until a GM came and removed it from me.

Not to mention the problem they are haveing with Task Force missions.

    lol

reread what the scientist who rescued you said!! It takes some time for the serum to work lol

After you rescue all scientists and kill the boss you have to talk to the Dr. again and THEN YOU HAVE to go to the next mission (the one where u can fight Dr. Vhazilok himself).  When you enter that mission, your symptoms go away.

LOL, man.  Its not a bug..Ive helped some others who were running around with flies on them not knowing what to do next.  When u read the Clues in your navigation screen it says that

People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.

Ah, no my clues did not say that. I did read them, over and over again, and I am not the only one that has had the problem.

Edit- With this bug, it breaks the story arc. Now I can not continue and fight my own mission against Dr. Vahzilok, with my main character. I now have to join someone else who is going to fight him.
