MMORPG.COM News: Project 'X' Beta Applications

MMORPG.COM is now accepting beta applications for our secret project known internally as "Project X." We cannot tell you much about the project at this time, other than it is *not* a game - however it will require a Windows PC system.
Beta testing will begin around mid to late June 2004. We will initially take 100-200 testers and expand the pool continuously as time progresses. We hope for a full launch of this product by no later than the end of July 2004. Just must be 18 or older to sign up and upon being accepted you will be required to sign an Non-Discosure Agreement.

I think after 1-2 weeks of the initial testing we will release the details of the project and likely hold a competition to name it

I think they got dibs to get a few people into an early beta that hasn't even annouced that its beta will be starting

Ok I just reread the news...it can't be a game...humm maybe a new OS, has to be something fairly powerful otherwise they wouldn't care about system specs much. Off again to ponder land

Man, this is so nerve racking, it isn't a game, yet according to Kunou, this is going to be one heck of a new update or whatever it is that is coming. I can't wait, well I can, with Guild Wars coming to town for 3 days o_O.
To change your age, just do it in account settings. *note* I'm pretty sure Admin will make you Fax a legally signed NDA contract, so for you minors, don't try to fake it

A new web tool that optimizes Microsofts .net and controls all new form of tracking news and gives all MMORPG.com subscribers instant access to all ongoing outside betas (like Everquest 2 and TMO)
