Question about Beta access

in Lord of the Rings Online

I've seen a ton of pre-order boxes and I have a question:

If I buy a pre-order box today, will I be able to play in the beta today?

    i think they open it up in a couple weeks ?



    not really sure though i dont plan on purchasing this game.

    I'm just sick of the same old games. I just wanna play something new.

    Is there anyway to check and see what the date is?

    If you want to play in the closed beta from today until March 24th go get a copy of April issue of Computer gaming magazine at your local bookseller.... has a free beta key which you can use right away...(will need to still get pre-order to play on the 30th though)
