Lord of the Rings Online gives us a look at the different titles players can get in the game. It's not just your name in Middle Earth that counts, it's what you have done as well. Check out some of the titles your character may get to uphold.

    At one time during BETA Turbine had a title called Dwarf Tosser.

    You earned the title by killing Dourhands.

    Unfrotunatley they took it out of the game.

    Not removed. Re-purposed. It still exists.

    I agree.  After getting my butt kicked by spiders for about an hour straight trying to solo a fellowship (group) quest I was inordinately proud to display my 'Web-Slasher' title.

    I think that titles are my favorite part about LOTRO. Yet one more reason why it is not a WoW clone.



    I liked the dwarf tosser title, I had it for a while before it was removed. I know it wasn't policatically correct, but neither is every scantily clad elf female in MMOs.

    It's just like the badges in CoX :)

    It's a really nice feature, allowing you to show what you've accomplished so far. It's small things like this that makes some games better then others. :)

    this is a brilliant idea and another good reason why  i want to play. Looks like the titles are easier to earn than the ones in Guildwars but a lot more colourful.
