Real problem is (unless it has been fixed since I bugged it, have not checked), is that walk speed was way to slow. I like to walk in towns for RP purposes, and sometimes out on the road too. Gives a game a real feel of large distances between Points-of-Interest.
However, the original walk speed of player characters in LoTRO was *slower* than the walk speed for NPCs !!!
So I would be walking along, and an NPC would catch up and pass me by. Oops.
Gave up walking, will have to try again and see if they boosted the PC walk speed a bit.

*Laughs*. I was a Man, and it was the Hobbits that were passing me by ! Must have been on the way to a Lunch, or Dinner. Or both at once.
