in Dark Age of Camelot
I left DAoC before the server merge. I was wondering if they deactive accounts survived the server merge. Was there a database wipe? I've been thinking about coming back to try out Catacombs and Darkness Rising.

    They didn't delete anything when they clustered the servers. If you had a toon named Bob on lancelot he will still be there as well as anyone named Bob on the other servers on that cluster. But, if you were the only Bob out of all the servers on the cluster, after clustering, noone would be able to make a toon named Bob. Also applies if you delete a toon that shares a name with another toon on the cluster, you lose that name permanently.
