Old eve player seeking info.

I have been gone from eve for like 8 months now maby more or less,I was there when the fix allaince fell to bob in Q.

Im thinking on jumping back in,.I have a 40m sp character,.but gonna roll a new one.I miss the enviroment of that game and the player driven politics and pvp.cant seem to play any of the other MMO's for more then a few months,.I was in eve for 3 years,and It might be time to head back.

I would like to hear from players that have been active for a year or more.and know about the ever chaning ingame politics and what all this racket is about when I see posts about BOB T20 and devs cheating.I cant really find anything on it thats seems valid,.whats the true story,.and the facts..

how has the empire changed? is there +6 implants out? has the a T2 power relay come out yet,.are there lvl 5 misstions? stuff like this would be cool to know,.Id like to jump in knowing most of the stuff,.its so hard to find people in game to anser them,.and who knows if any of the pioneers i know still play.

    I don really´t understand why you wouldn´t wanna play with your 40m sp char since as I´m sure you know it will take a good while for new char to get involved in the things you mentioned.

    But anyway answers to your questions. Empire hasn´t changed much unless expect for the fact pretty much everyone is war with Privateers(pirate alliance) and warp to zero makes travel faster everywhere. No +6 implants, there are TII cap power relays and shield power relays if you ment those, no lvl 5 missions but they are coming this summer along with lvl 6 and 7 missions, lvl 5 and higher will only be available in losec and 0.0, other than that there are few new ships and couple new things to do like salvaging, invention and gas clouds, new gang system, new map, etc. Nothing you shouldn´t be able to get used to quite easily. Oh and if you are gonna make new char you will be happy to know they start with 800k sp. Thats all I can think of atm.

    As for the T20 issue. The basics are that he got caught having spawned and given about half a dozen T2 bpo´s to his corp which is in BoB. This had apperantly happened during last summer but wasn´t made public until some hacker exposed this to the public. End result was that T20 kept his job  and the bpo´s were reseeded through the t2 lottery. This somewhat started a trend that some people claimed that their enemies had devs or gm´s helping them by abusing their powers. AFAIK though there hasn´t been anything else after it than couple ccp employees having their ingame character exposed which shouldnt come as too big shock since ccp claims they have people in every one of the 10 biggest alliances at least.

    the previous poster gave you a fair description of eve today ..personally I would just fire up the old char as you will need the skills ..privateers has war decked most all of eve  141 wdc going atm ..the entire north is at war with BoD ..new catch name for Bob

    Lv has been pushed back to Stain by KOS/RA/AAA/Gonnswarm..

    YouWhat have been pushed out of Cloud Ring by D2

    FiX has taken a huge thrashing by Iron /Raz/and several others ..but they still hold there space mostly because of the bob cap fleet & there titians have to give props to FIX there is no quit in them ...

    BoD has hired any & all merc corps to harass the northern war effort

    the southern coalition of kos/ra/aaa/curse/roadkill/goonswarm is starting to fall apart because of ra wanting control of the plexus they have taken in LV space

    all in all much pew pew and chaos

    my 40m sp character is on a account I gave to a friend,my toon is there on ice,the account had 6 months on it so I gave to a freind to try,.and ,..  yea.he loves the game lol.I plan to transfer him over to new account at some point,.And I want a second toon with pimp cepter skills for pvp.so Ill make the 2nd toon now.

    Hey well if you decide to join and dont want to be in depth all the poltics and crap and still wanna pvp Your welcome to join BGBR, We are based in outer ring at the moment. Contact Dark Assassin15 ingame :) And yes they started seeding alot of T2 bpo's so there are t2 nanos and all the t2 that were on market, but nobody had, are out now

    read up on the current things ccp have done.



    while most of the scandal events won't effect the majority IN the game, one has to decide if they wish to enable a company that behaves as CCP has, by subscribing to a service that is slanted towards only those in CCP's favor.



    Be informed before you decide.

    ccp the "we cheat for our buddies and are proud of it" company...

    Cool outer ring eh,.I might put this game back on tomoro,.Ill drop him a line if i do.im going to start as close to a tackler as i can in skills,so i can live in 0.0 right from newbiehood,and be usefull.hell,.its not like ill cost much lol.

    Maybe, I'm loosing something... My 2 accounts are on ice for almost 2 months now, I've lost almost everything due to trust people in game (my mistake ) and lost my faith in CCP with the recent facts, I was tired of being pushed by the Devs, at every patch (expansion) to do what they think is the right to do, to loose my freedom of choice at every new change on the game mechanics to bring "balance" to that virtual world, after spending a LOT of time training to reach some planned objectives.

    Seeing EVE in the 6th place on the Game List of MMORPG.com after being there in the 1st place at all the times I've played and loved the game makes me feel I was not wrong in leaving, maybe I was, dunno the truth, only the time will tell it.

    Anyways, back to solo games, for now... Maybe, sometime, we can have some EULA and Rules that must be folowed by everyone...
