Many of you have read my past posts. I have decided to cancel my subscription to the worst online game in the history of video gaming. They should call this game "DUNG" and "LAG". The employees at Turbine should be terminated for creating such a poor game.

Man, you need to play more games. If DDO is the worst you've ever played, then I seriously wish I had your track record.
Your post is analogous to this: If the only games I had ever played were WoW, Final Fantasy 7, and, oh, I don't know, we'll say Half Life 2.....and I decided that that was the full range of gaming known to man, which therefore meant that which ever one of these three games I liked the least I'd better crap all over, because obviously it's the worst game ever, if it fails to impress on th same level as the other two.
So again, I wish I had the luxury of avoiding all the crappy games so that good games like DDO look like crap by comparison to the pure gems of my limited exposure.....sigh.....

I like to play it on and off... waiting for the Monk class and hoping for the Druid class
It is a good game at what it does... not the end all be all of games but i find it very charming, and i like the whole instanced bit.. no more need to spawn camp just to get five spotted knickers for old man Sluggo...

You guys know this game isn't good, which is why you don't post topics often in the General forums. I mean at least the LotRO fan can go into the general forums and post LotRO topics about their game without ridicule.

Not up to your old tricks again are you............Captain? What the hell has LOTRO got to do with anything? Are you just up to your Turbine hating as usual? Funny, you seem to get the same reaction on those boards as you do here looking at your past posts ha ha ha ha!
Irony, anyone? Because everytime, you guys post DnD updates, we (as in the whole general forums) continiously remind you that DDO sucks. I wish you stop posting in the general because not everybody that's stupid resubscribe.

Lastera, I really think you need to see some kind of professional help, a counsellor or psychiatrist perhaps. You have by your own admission only played a trial of DDO up to level 4 and that was 5 months ago. You have changed your name on the boards from CaptRPG to Lastera and consistently rubbished this game and it all points to some sort of mental problem.
Most people when they have played a trial will play it, if they don't like it they may post a comment on a forum such as this giving their experiences. You have an unhealthy obsession with DDO, why? You have paid Turbine no money...........you have only ever played free trials???? It does not make sense? Lots of people don't like DDO and that's fine but to rubbish a game you have only played on a trial so long after playing it is a bit odd.
Final thing which you may find impossible but is true nonetheless, there are people in this world who like things that you don't! That's a fact!

History is full of dictators that would have loved to have you and your unimaginably biased views on their side.
In a perfect world you would have been properly educated and taught that the oppinions of other people are valuable too, they allow you to reflect on a topic in a new way, offering you the luxury of contemplation. It is those who cease to think and evaluate that makes the greatest mistakes.

That being said, I dislike when people try to prove that DDO is not DnD, guys, it is DnD, and as much as I played it and other DnD games I know exactly what was changed, and I know of all the bad changes as well, but that doesn't take away its DnD property. In fact, the matters that I see wrong with the game are pretty grave, some of the pretty big changes, and noone, I mean not one single man from mmorpg.com forums found these mistakes. Up until someone writes a coherent thesis on what is messed up DnD rules wise, I am unconvinced they have proper knowledge of the game.
All i've seen so far is "internet smart" people, who will look at some wikis and the such to base their argument on. I for one don't think CaptainRPG is the same as Lastera, I'll tell you why: Back, when most of you pro-DDO people were not around, I had debates with CaptainRPG and Crash86, they haven't posted lately, but back then they posted a lot. They really hated DDO with a passion, BUT everything that CaptainRPG said made sense, and I could tell he did in fact play the game, and played a significant ammount of time to have a valid opinion about it. Lastera has no experience with this game, and all of the reasoning I saw mentioned by her are almost copies of what can be found in other forums, she didn't come up with one insightful critic of the game. All I can say is, I wish I had people like CaptainRPG to argue against, cause at least he knew the facts, unlike Lastera.
But handling trolls is easy, do not pay attention to them, as they are obsessed not with the game, but with proving their toughness, it is a frustration, and lack of self-confidence. It is their pain, leave it to them, I hope trolls suffer.

I actually happen to like both games, though I was disappointed with NWN2 ultimately. A lot of people like both games, they both offer different interpretations of the ruleset. It's not a case of DDO v NWN2 as you seem to suggest it is..................! Just because something has more, it doesn't mean the other is a lesser experience or less immersive. Last, I check, the boards I went to recently with DDO went silent while NWN2 is still going strong. (Still in the top 10) Do yourself and stop putting information out of your butt.

You don't seem to believe that people can happily play both DDO and NWN2 at the same time??? Unfortunately for me, it turned out that I didn't enjoy NWN2 as much as I did NWN.
You must also realise by now Captain, that no-one listens to someone who played a trial to level 4 last year.................

i kinda feel bad for all those companies who spend ALOT of time and money on a game only to see it fail or not do well at all.
