Like in WoW tho, I liked the fact that you could venture into horde territory and see all the lowbies and you had your own languages. The PvP was amazing. I loved it. The shared "contested territories" We all had to go through and complained about the ganking :P
i liked w0w too..i love the concept lifelong foe of the alliance and the horde, like the good guys vs. the bad guys..i also liked the characters in it and the concept of the whole game in one package..

Nothing out yet is going to compete with WoW, but perhaps WAR or LoTR online will. I really doubt either will be able to compete number-wise with WoW though because of the multi-country marketing that the other games don't have available.
Hi Kerika, Many of the WOW players are ex-DAOC players who respect Mythic. And Mythic is intercontinental. As such I believe your assertion that none of the new games have the capability to do what WOW has done is false. In all honesty I think War is going to surpass WOW. Many of us are leaving that game either when War hits or doing so now just out of sheer boredom.
War has the right idea. PVE and PVP under one system. Together and worldwide. Where every pve quest, battle, pvp fight or thing you do helps your faction. Where faction just isnt a number to open up this instance or to get this quest or item. Where what you do has a global effect. Where pvp actually matters. Or in the DAOC wording RVR..

I'll take it out on Blizzard. "WHY'D THEY BAN MY AION ACCOUNT, UNBAN IT NOW" Hopefully It wouldn't have to come to that. xD.
