What you ask to match all your criteria DOES NOT exist thus if it evaded me in my endless search I would like to know.

well, then just recommend me a good game. It doesn't need ALL the requirerments>
I can deal with grinding, just as little as possible
GuildWars has all of that!
Check it out now until the end of E3, you can download it from guildwars.com
It is still in alpha but they are letting anyone try it!
If UXO is anything like UO used to be then lock me up now!:)
EVE- online has deep social/political structure, good economy, good pvp, Fun factor, nice trade skills and you can train your character offline..
But it has a very steep learning curve, basicly the first month ingame doesnt mean jack..
I dont think there is a MMORPG out there that is superb atm, everyone has something good and something bad.
Neocron - populations are a bit low these days, cause people are waiting for the expansion 'Neocron - Beyond Dome of York', but I found myself agreeing with all those points you put down as requirements. That's what Neocron has been/done for me since December 2002.
In my honest opinion, it is really worth a look, but I'd wait 1 month to 1½ before signing up, then again there is much fun to be had right now, and you could get some good characters built up before the expansion comes.
I would have to agree with natas, EVE Online has all that you are looking for. Yes, it does have a wickedly steep learning curve for the standard MMO, but the chat channel can answer every question you can think of instantly, instead of submitting tickets to customer reps or posting in the respective forum.
I haven't tried Guild Wars yet so I cannot speak for it. Good luck in your search!

I dont think GW has much of an economy, at least not one that people have had a chance to use. It is not up and running with the preview that is going on at the moment.
With regards to EVE: There is no doubt it is a good game. But sucking on asteroids all day can get a bit tedious. And Sci-Fi isn't always peoples cup of tea. Sometimes you want to see you avatar get different weapons or spells and change their garb...flying around space ships isn't quite as rewarding..but EVE does come close. And also it is one of the most beautiful looking and sounding games out.
Dark and light will have all you want.
Of course, it is in beta stage.
