How would I go about joining in a game with a friend of mine? If we are in different servers, how do we find each other? Once we've found each other how can we adventure together? How do you join in a group of people? Thank you.

The only way i can think of being able to talk to your friends on the alpha test...would be to have a mic/headset and use Teamspeak....and then that way you can talk about and group and not have to type it all...

The outposts and towns are split which is dissapointing but understandable at this stage of the Alpha.
To join with your friend, have him stay in one place that you recognise in one outpost, and you should be REJOINING the outpost over and over again until you find him. luckily it seems that the servers are assigned in order 1, 2, 3, .... so that eventually you will find him/her.
I did this last night with a friend of mine and we were able to play together in the same map. Took about 12 rejoins of the outpost until we were able to group so be patient.
Overall that is my only concern with this demo, you cant meet your friends easily! However, you can chat with them throughout so you aren't completely disconnected from them which is good.
