Hellgate: London

Anyone got any prelim-thoughts on this game?

Personally I think being from the 'Diablo' guys Flagship are on a winning form, I know it's not techally a MMO but from iwhat I've read they are trying to turn incorp as much MMOish stuff in as they can, basically what their twin-cusins Arena.net are doing with GW but TBH 'better', it looks good, on paper it reads good, TBH it's 'the better ex-part of Blizzard'.. so so far good :)

Bring on the WARRRRGGHH!

In my oppinion Hellgate will set new mark for free MMO (or should i more apropriately call it ORPG)

It will basically be DIABLO , with guns

And i can see it being imense succes (popular)

Alas we have to wait for 1 more year to see it hit the shelves image

I'm looking forward to this game. I'm going to play it, I've seen the trailers and visited the website, I was impressed. I hope some more ingame footage will come soon.

From what I have heard, the online game won't be free.

That was a misquotation from a pr-guy, the old topic on this board has the link with correction.
(They where thinking on different pay models & somehow it ended up as "Hellgate gets monthly fees" somehow. One of the big fan-sites got ahold of one of devs/main guys on Hellgate London & he corrected the story aka it will be free for online play).

The online part is indeed going to be free, but from what I've heard, if you want ongoing updates/contents then your going to have to pay for it.
