TRY IT !!!

this game's a blast.



in all this time since it's been released i've had a hard time getting past the super hero "goofy factor" but, after starting the game lastnight i can honestly say i haven't had this much fun in a mmo in quite some time.



fun game, good people, impressive graphics..

    Goofy!!!!??? well if you hit the random button on the costume generator, your right, but spend some time and play with the options you can do pretty good

    the two above are essentially the same body type and main body costume but different slider settings and different appendages.

    This one is my homage toon, and probably my favorite guy to play.

    CoX has the best character customization of any game out there now.

    Yes there are still new players playing, I help out lowbies every now and then with inf and such.  Population really spiked when they did the double xp weekend about a month ago, so I think they gained some new or reactivated accounts.

    i played it a year ago but at the time was still playing other MMORPG's . Came back last week and loving every minute of it. find a group and rip through tons of bad guys awsome fun.

    There's definitely a "goofy" factor, amd there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. My favorite comic books were always The Badger and Flaming Carrot, and most of my CoH characters have a goofy aspect to them, or at least an element of parody (Crimson Cockroach, Fool Errant, Uncle Slam, The Sulfur Surfer). There are plenty of serious character concepts, but I prefer the somewhat goofy.

    There's my goofiest. Made purely for laughs, but I still play him from time to time.



    And for any potential players reading this, xxthecorexx is right. It's a very fun game, not at all a "hardcore" game. It's fast-paced, it's a bit crazy, and the community is top-notch. Download the trial and see for yourself.
