Clicked the link and got a 503 error...unfortunately it is a "temporary error" meaning it is just down for the time being.

I was hoping for a 404 error. Meaning it wouldn't exist.

Meaning a Dragonball MMO wouldn't exist.

    This is too funny!

When I clicked that link the first thing that I saw was a comment made by someone that said "This is over 9,000 levels of lame."

    This was inevitable.

I just don't see how it can work, the only leveling up they did was training together for years. It took them forever to get to SSJ1 and I can imagine everyone making a Saiyan only so that they get all the cool transformations. It would just be a pvp game like darkfall was supposed to be. Free right? Fly wherever, blast whoever, no reasons to not blast everyone else, and the only way t judge how strong other players are is by the length and spikyness of their hair. I will call it now and say it does not come out over here if it even comes out over there.

Yah, I'm 19, and you can call me a dork if you want to but I remember comming home from school when I was 11 years old just to watch this show on cartoon network and i absolutely loved it.  Its been all the time and this tidbit of info actually excites the kid in me from long ago. So if it does ever get released in the US, I will definately test this bad boy out!

it sounds interesting... Guess I'll be reading more on it (in Asian MMO sites) next year...  Hopefully they can make a great game and bring it over...

Personally I don't mind playing a Dragonball MMO if it's done right, and make me feel like I'm in that world...

There are at least three MMO that I hope they'll bring it to US since I can't go there to play...

    1. Gundam Online (there is one, but only in Japan)

    2. Uncharted Water Online (it's already in Asia, but I can't pay for it to play...  rather wish it'll come to US... )

    3. Nobunaga's Ambition Online (It's also in Asia, and sounds and looks fairly cool, just that I can't pay for it to play...)

    Current MMO: FFXIV:ARR

Past MMO: Way too many (P2P and F2P)

it says "Akira Toriyama will be helping to design the new characters, buildings, and backgrounds." hopefully he'll help with the storyline also. i dont know why people automatically give it a bad rating, if you're a true dragonball fan you would want to have another piece of the story

I want it to work, I am just trying to think of how it will work as an MMORPG.

training with king kai? weight training? sparring? growing up in a warzone (on another planet)?

opponents could be brolli's, or enemies from North, South, East, and West Galaxies

this DB is set 200 years into the future. they're not talking about what happened during DB, DBZ, or DBGT, this is the future.

and obviously (or moreover, hopefully, since it wont work if he's there) Goku won't be there and have like 1billion power level.

Yet, another grindfest. Didn't even bother clicking on your posted link.

What I mean is look at it from a balance point. Everyone is going to make a Saiyan. There would be no point to make anything else because you would be a gimp considering they have all these transformations. The only one that could stand a chance would be a Namek that fuses with a bunch of other nameks. Humans can not transform, and besides SSJ, Saiyans can go Oozaru during full moons in game. Sort of Overpowered.

    Wont find me in there.

so, set in 200 years into the future, things can change to make it work. maybe in the future, since the only saiyans in the past who can produce other saiyans are: goten, trunks, gohan, and pan, the saiyan blood line would go down, and their ability to go super saiyan would require more training? maybe the nameks evolved?

anyways, im done arguing, im going to have high hopes for this game cause im a dragonball fan. if it sucks, then it sucks.

im still waiting for the next Starcraft :)   ..and Stargate Worlds isn't bad also.

I don't like the 200 years in the future , I mean how cool would it be to do quest for Goku .. or to battle Freeza as a final boss mob in a dungeon ... without any of the cast  I don't think it would grab me ...

Korean game is equal to grindfest. No doubt!

    PS; It's development

Do they block foreign IPs? Other than that I don't see why you can't buy from an international retailer. There's a blackmarket for everything.

Just like western games, unless you want to claim Vanguard doesn't have any grind? Thats what I thought.

Western games are just as equal to grindfests.

If your talking about F1859, your talking nonsense. Perhaps you should visit its website and read the forum properly before your posting rubbish about it.

About SoH:Vanguard. I have never played it, so I cannot give my opinion about it.

I am not posting any rubbish about that game. when I talk about western MMORPG's, I talk about MMORPG's that are created in the western part of the world, such as North America and Europe. Vanguard is just the same old western grind.
