Hmm, I want it to be darker... or there be make a Mordheim MMO

Sure the Warrior Priests are all about the will of Sigmar, but that's not the extent of the Empire. Most of it is made up of religious fanatics who brand themselves, or whip their own bodies as they seek to cleanse themselves from the taint of Chaos. The monks who gouge out their eyes just so they can have candles sticking out of their sockets. The clergy men who nail coins into their heads and wear heavy chains around their necks. The flaggelants who use maces, irons, boards, whatever they can get their hands on to assault the enemies of faith. And sure the With Hunter seems cool, but people, this guy is the freakin INQUISITION. The Inquisition, for those who don't know, are the ones who try to get an answer out of anyone and everyone. They do it through torture, confrontation, threats, and fire. They WILL have a confession from you. The Witch Hunter is not a nice guy. Sure he's got a Hat, the most bad ass hat to ever be in an MMO apparently, but he's a nasty guy. He'll lay you on the stretcher, poke you with burning hot pokers, and when the day is done, will probably end up killing you.

See, I want THAT. The ultra dark, gritty Warhammer I've come to know and love. That's why I can't put down any Warhammer book I pick up. Well, pretty sure it can't happen now, so I'm just holding out for a Mordheim MMO. For those who have played, you know what this 'darkness' is I'm talking about

Try Mark of Chaos and... I don't think the more graphic things will make it in, come on... you know they want a teen rating

I have played Mark of Chaos. That's fun stuff. And dark. They're seriously going for a T? I mean, it'd undoubtedly hurt if they didn't, but still... I guess that explains why they couldn't focus on Khorne. Or Slaneesh. I can picture that now: 'Mommy, that man has six lady boobies. And what is pleasure?' lololol. Sigh...

Dark you want? Just picture a naked dwarf with only a loin cloth covering his "Warhammer" dancing around. The mere thought alone sends cold shivers down my spine. Despite me not even rolling a Dwarf character i know i will run into a video of this dark nature on youtube.com only months after its release.

Yes the are seriously going for a Teen (T) rating. Have you not watched the videos with Paul? He repeats it a lot, go check out  the exclusive chaos videos on Gamespy. They tell you in the last one exactly why the other deities are not there.

You correct on Khorne and Slaneesh by the way..

And you actually thought they would make an MMO that was not teen rated? What do you think this is Age of Conan?

The higher rating the fewer subscribers, the fewer subscribers the fewer dollars

And I don't want to hear anything about "I don't believe in vampires" because *I* don't believe in vampires, but I believe in my own two eyes, and what *I* saw is ******* vampires! "

Vanguards is rated T. The box lists blood and gore, use of alcohol, violence, and most notably partial nudity. Plenty of other US MMOs have topless female models. They just leave the nipples off. Which Vanguard didn't, btw.

Of course, some parent to lazy and/or useless to pay attention to what their children are doing would freak out over the Deamonettes, and some politicians would try to use it as a platform to wrangle up some votes from the parents that want their government officials to raise their kids for them.

    Which sucks for us.
