in Final Fantasy XI
How do i cancle my FFXI Exsiting account? If i do would i still be able to use Playonline?

    There are a few diffrent ways, But easiest to explain, On the Next to final PoL Screen (the one before the "This game is time consuming blah blah blah family, friends, work, school blah" warning) Scroll down to content ID Then click cancel Content ID. Proceded through that Untill you cancel your Content ID.

    You are only paying for the Content ID, Thats it. Once you cancel you're free from montly charges. PoL Is a free service, and will continue to work. If you ever cancel your PoL account, You will need to buy another Copy of FFXI inorder to reinstall.

    cancel the ffxi id and keep the playonline id

    I didn't feel like making a new thread, I'm canceling my subscription for now, but coming back in a couple of months. I don't have anytime to play this game right now. Well, I think I canceled my Id. Is the content ID the name of you character? I canceled that one, so I just want to make sure I'm canceling the right thing....don't feel like getting billed on my time off.

    No, if you follow the instructions above you should be fine.  Go to "Content ID" and cancel.  Not in the character selection screen to delete.

    No....I mean the name of the content ID was the name of your character. I went to cancel content ID, and was just making sure it was the right thing to cancel.
