go to configuration and then go to advanced (for display) then click on disable AGP for vertices, then when you open the game click on no when the message screen pops and and you can play now....
now that i answered a bug...
CAN YOU GM PEOPLE STOP USING 56K!!!!!
wow, ther is a lot of bugs, but the one HUGE annoying bug is the freaking lag!!!! the ping goes up to 2000 and is NEVER under 500 and every 1 minute there is an FS LOSS ( i dont even know what the hell that means)( it also causees me to restart the game)
So plz you silly GM's plz give us answers to problems like lag and what you are going to do about it.....
Cause if your planning to release this game in 3 months you better think again..

Another important tip for ATI users is to switch the game configuration into Direct3D mode instead of OpenGL. Makes it much more stable for most.
As for the lag.. yeah I was playing earlier today and it was horrendous. The lag wasn't like this several days ago though. But of course more and more people are trying the game so that could be part of it.
Have patience though... the devs are well aware of the problem and I think they are smart enough to fix something that impacts gameplay so severely sooner than later. By the way, if you are hoping to have your message seen by the GMs and developers you might want to post on the official forum.

I would like to see an offical post.
We are aware of/researching a solution to/implementing a fix for the connection and latency issues.
I dont think I am asking to much here. DO YOU?

To my knowledge the every 5 minute game death issue has been addressed.

In reference to ATI cards, I had an old Radeon 7200. SoR ran fine with the latest drivers for me, and that was with an old 1.2ghz Celeron processor with 512mb RAM.
I had to upgrade my system because my old motherboard decided to crash and burn, but I didn't want to spend a ton of money since new motherboards with PCI-E slots will start coming out in June this year with more to follow this fall. I bought a PC Chips M825VXX board with 266mhz front end bus, slapped a AMD Duron 1.6ghz processor with 192kb cache, Samsung 512mb DDR SDRAM @ 133mhz bus, and an ATI Radeon 9200 card for less than 325 US $. Got the latest drivers, including DirectX 9.0b, and decided to give SoR a try. No problems.
I think a lot of people are not deleting they're old drivers for their cards before installing the new ones. This will cause problems from the start, or if not from the start, later on. If I'm not mistaken, SoR also runs on DirectX 9.0, and so you need to upgrade DirectX if your version is less than 9.0. I found this out when I first downloaded the SoR client back in April when I was still using 8.0. I would also recommend that you have a minium of 512mb RAM to play the game. Anything less just won't cut it. I'm personallly slapping an additional 256mb stick on my board to bring total memory up to 768mb RAM.
Good luck all with getting game to work with your ATI cards.
