SAGA[starcraft]??

I have seen several times in the past ,people wondering about a starcraft game.Well i stumbled onto this SAGA game, wich i guess has the lead pregrammer from starcraft on there team. From the very little information i can gather at there site,it seems like this is a very low end graphical game, perhaps geared towards a  sorta starcraft type gameplay?I don't know because i have never player starcraft.Sometimes very simplistic games gather a huge following even though they are not graphical leaders in game design.

Games such a Warsong/romance the three kingdoms/Wizardry was another simplistic dungeon design. With so many games out there ,and the demand for high end graphics becoming more and more popular,i can't fathom as to why such a big name like the leader of starcraft would go for such a low end game.Perhaps there trying to reach more gamers that can't afford high end machines, and are banking on a game design that is fun yet low end,who knows ,time will tell.Anyhow here is the link.

starcraft isnt that simplistic, it isnt that graphicly demanding either, but it does have a rather large following because the game is so diverse, yet is is very balanced and fun. if you haven't played it i would recomend you go pick it up

From the screenshots, the graphics don't seem to be as low-end as you think.  It appears to be an MMORTS (it appears to be a world where once your base is built, it remains the same way over time.  From the FAQ, I gathered that you would first be in a Civilization-style map, before entering battle which is done in an RTS fashion with graphics comparable to Age of Empires 3 or Command and Conquer: Generals.

My only problem with this game (and it is one of those problems that stops me from playing it) is that instead of paying a monthly fee, you buy your units with real money.  In other words, the more money you pump in, the better you are.  Not a game for me, that's for sure.
