in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes
Greetings,I would like to ask you if I will be experiencing any problems by playing Vanguard on my system:

CPU: Amd Opteron 146 s939 2.0.

Mobo: Asrock 939 A8X-M.

Ram: 2x 512 DDR 400 Dual Channel.

VGA: NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS.

PSU: Levicom 450W.

    Throw in an extra 1gig of ram or dont bother.



    With 1gig you could get away with high-performance settings (just plan bad, EQ1 looks better) or might scrape Balanced (just about bareable, but no way does it justify the hardware).

    I am not able to add another 1gb ram at the moment.I hope I could :P

    Cupertino is right. You could use 1 gig ram and maybe (just maybe) a bit more video punch to play the game in a low/balanced setting.

    On the other hand, I recommend that you find a buddy key or wait for a trial version. There was a very kind person yesterday who gave a buddy key to a seeker like you.

    I can only LOL at the above statement.



    I played for about a week, then I had to go on some military training, since then my subscription ran out and im pennyless until I get paid but heres my profile on VG and take a look at the pics.

    Keep in mind the screenys have been cropped and reduced in quality to reduce size on webby.



    Comp specs:

    AMD Venice 3200+

    Nvidia 7800 GTX

    2g PC3200 DDR 400mhz ram

    Standard 200g HDD



    With tweaks I had around 30-40 FPS in the desert areas. In towns it droped to 20-30. I found playing with your clip plane using the [ and ] keys helped reduce lagg. But the graphics lagg is a problem.



    Vanguard is graphically nice, it isnt polished however and the game is prone to crashes and buggy. Play at your own risk.
