Warcraft 4?

Well this isn't WOW topic but it's in warcraft but heres question. Well at end of game it shows arthas with helmet and sword, but that doesn't really end the storyline too well. Pretty much all what happen is Burning Legion's leader is dead, Orc found new home, Human i have no clue, Naga was shown, and the Bloodelves joined with Illidan whos supposely not dead. So if all that happen the story still can be continued. Anyone think they should make a Warcraft 4 after WOW, Starcraft ghost, and starcraft 2 when announced???

If they are going to make another game after they release WoW it better be a StarCraft 2. I have been waiting and still am waiting for that game to come out.

y r u waiting for sc2? blizzard never said anything about it, it wus ea games that said they would make sc2...but they canceled it

In my humble opinion, the only decent game Blizzard is making is World of Warcraft. I never enjoyed any of their single player games that much, but I guess I don't enjoy any single player games

They may not make a SC2 but here's what they said

grr blizzard COME ON you leave all us starcraft fans with such a juicy plot ending (zeratul finding durans creation) were BLOODTHIRSTY for the next starcraft! Weve been waiting 5 years for the next and all you give us is a measly expansion.

Now warcraft on the other hand has a WC2... and expansion to that... then WC3... and expansion to that... now WoW!?! WTF?!?!? i mean dont get me wrong WoW looks awesome but isnt it about time they revisit the "starcraft world"... btw im not looking forward to ghost at all... i still play regular starcraft and i want more story and more strategy fun! not a first person shooter. oh well. i love you blizzard im sorry for yelling at you.

Nope, not Warcraft 4, World of Warcraft! This game places you as a soilder, or as a civilian, during the times of the war. It looks really cool, and the characters so far look rather customisable. Hudge plus.

No warcraft 4, story line of warcraft will end with WOW quest and future expansions.

I was under the impression that WoW was the continuation of the wc3 plot. Mebbe I'm wrong, coulda swore I read that somewhere

And honestly? I think once an mmo is made based off of another game, other single-player versions of that game just kinda... go away.

Though, Starcraft 2 would be fun, and I think ghost looks like a blast ^^

(I'd like to see blizzard to some cell shading for that though ;p)

I think they will wait until WoW is old and unpopular, then begin to work on a new Warcraft game. Between then and now, they'll probably make SC2, D3, etc.

At the end of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, Tyreal shatters the Worldstone in order to release it from Baal's corrpution. Tyreal mentions something about the reprucussions of destroying the Worldstone earlier in the storyline. That is the open plotline in the story.

As much as i want to see WC4, i dont think that will be probable because of WoW. I mean it IS an MMO, in which the game will just keep going. SO, they will probably finish off the storyline there.

Then again, it is their longeset running series...so, who knows...maybe they will....but if they do, I sure would be the first in line for it just like World of Warcraft...

I don't think WoW will do much if anything to the WarCraft story line other then give you a first person look at the world. I think WC4 and SC2 are very likely.

Kinda pulling up an old thread there Tasidar.

But yes, WoW is techincaly WC4 as far as the storyline is concerned. They've made sure to expand on the end of the WC3 storyline to explain how all the races ended up on the different factions, and they've said they plan to continue the storyline from there and that the game will progress as time goes by. As for whether or not there'll be a WC4 RTS, few games see that many sequals, though I know I was sad to see the mech warrior franchise turn to x-box only now.
