Hey I no you may thing this is jusyt a nother stupid post but I just want to no when dose WoW come out? In USA that is? image

    There's no official release date yet. So anyone who posts a date and claims it is official is just plain lying.  Obviously there are lots of rumoured dates ranging from June to December of this year.

    Personally I hope this game comes out as soon as humanly possible, cause I really wanna get my hands on it!

    Okay, I got this from an inside source so you can't tell too many ppl....

     

     

    But here's the down low

     

    *whispers*

    THEY'LL RELEASE IT WHEN THEY'RE DONE BETA TESTING

     

    I used to have a link to the "state of the beta" review done by an online gaming site. It's out of date by 2 months now, but it described the phases they had to go through, and how much would be left. You can make your own guesses once you know the data. They just finished content testing EVERY race for the first 20 levels

    Now the level cap is 39, all races and all but 1 of the classes are in the game. Only class left to test is Hunter, and just another 21 levels worth. Though I heard they're raising it to I think 45 here pretty darn soon. Which means we just need to wait for the last few levels of content testing to wrap up, the tweaking on hunter, racial abilities and traits to be implimented. With minor polishing along the way I'm sure. At that point, I bet they'll go into open beta, and do a month or two of general testing while they add more quests, and wrap up all the artwork that's left.

     

    Hope that helps give you a good idea of how far off release is. ^.^'

    Phil O'Neil, president of North American operations for Vivendi Universal Games has stated November 2004 on CNN.  (Vivendi is the parent of Blizzard, if you didn't know)

    I heard they were actually going to be increasing the level cap to 55 soon.  Well hopefully all this means that the open beta stage will start really soon!

    I Think it will be around X-mas, Blizzard is known for its late release(Warcraft 3 and more).

    right now wow is in like second stage beta my friend is very lucky he got in i have seen the game it is awesome but lots of bugs so i am thinking maybe 2005 maybe eairlyer. but the game is great and i think it is worth the wait for a non bugy game so i am willing to wait :)

    WOW is supposed to be entering third stage beta within the next week or two.  Naturally it has bugs like every other game in beta, but according to a lot of testers, things are steadily improving throughout the course of the beta.  I still think Blizzard will be able to get a really good game out before the end of the year.

    I think we all know for certain already, that it will come out before the end of the year. The devs have mentioned that a number of times. The questions really, is will it come out Q3 or Q4?

    Like many Blizzard games, their games come out around June/July area.  I wouldnt expect this game to come out within the next few months.  I would say the LATEST DATE for release would be July of next year.  My guess as of now is that it will be coming out around December. image
